At least wenger will be back under pressure :D
The big nosed Swede is suspended for this one so somebody else will have to step up to the plate to give us a fingering I'm afraid 8)
The big nosed arsehole must be raging at missing this one. He's had a mostly shit start to his manure career but if ever there was a team that would gift him a couple of soft goals it would be us. :|
Didn't know that db that may change things a tad

The last time we rocked into town up there we were on the scent of the league title. It was not long after the Welbz winner at the death against Leicester that many predicted would turn the tide in our favour for the run in.

United on the other hand were struggling badly under LVG and when this dross appeared on their team sheet any team with serious title winning aspirations should have been able to easily swat them aside.

De Gea, Varela, Carrick, Blind, Rojo, Schneiderlin, Herrera, Mata, Depay, Lingard, Rashford.

Instead, our bunch of bottle jobs managed to lose 3-2 making Rashford look like the new Pele in the process.

Horrific stuff.

Could be the start of the return of the banners as we get sucked into our usual race for 4th. Failure to beat PSG and a second place finish in the group will see the return of the Groundhog. Playing the stiffs against Saints in the League Cup will lead to the usual disasterous exit but being such a massive club we can obviously afford to throw away this cup, perennial title challengers and Champions League mainstays that we are

Have a bad feeling about the Man Utd game...think we will loose...as always hoping it turns out different

Yes Southampton are ready for the EFL game and think we will go out, will be a shame so close to a 2 leg semi final

I have the usual feeling, a limp dicked defeat is on the way, I'm now resigned to getting nothing up there every season, last years pathetic display just murdered any natural optimism I have for the fixture, this one, away to the chavs and the vermin usually yield f**k all in the way of points but have massive potential for depressing me.

really infuriates me how you're right every season yet the club and half it's placated support don't see it. you can predict our season from august to may with ease.

praying for a miracle at the weekend though, all the same

Looks like we will be limping into OT rather than rocking up !
I can see us risking players who arent fully fit and them getting mullerred on the pitch by maureens marauders before a tame capitulation and a dodgy penalty /sending off/rooney hat trick type pf affair.
Hope I'm wrong but Ive got a nasty feeling about this one !
