played alright at times and deserved the lead but too many sloppy balls as the half went on, and it's cost us
This. The thing is that every team is expecting this and our success rate from the back isn't great. He really needs to abandon the idea. When you have teams like Fulham pressing you, then they know that we can be got at.

Also, 12 shots at our goal from a newly promoted team. I have to say that we are efficient with chances, but the amount of chances that we allow is really a big black mark on Emery.

I think Dick really needs to look to improve things at the back in January, we are still too leaky and no matter how good we can be going forward at times you just know there are goals available at the back :rubchin:

Another golden opportunity for Iwobi to put one on a plate there. With loads of time and two men to pick out he managed to pick out the single defender. And another poor ball afterwards after good work.

It’s all fine and well looking busy and beating a defender a few times but he could have had four assists here.

Get in! Great hit from Lacazette, even though keeer should have saved it. Seems like we start second half like a steam train most games.

How many times does Xhaka have to do that blind pass into no one?

That was my point. For every thing he gets right he fucks up too many things. He also seems to have a brainfart too often after beating a player as if he then panics and just kicks the ball anywhere.

I'm going to defend him just a little here, there are definite signs of improvement under Emery, and lets be honest fixing Wenger's coaching may take a long time. In his favour is the fact he is still relatively young where as some others are way past saving :rubchin:
