Adebayor is a total *word censored*. If he wants to leave, then that's one thing, but the way he seems to be messing everyone around stinks.

One thing that worries me is that two of our players have had one really good season (Ade and Flamini) and all of a sudden, they want out. We're becoming a stepping-stone club. Players are using us and they know they can get away with it. Now I'm not saying we should go and sign loads of big name players, but if we're letting our best players leave after we've finished our third season without a trophy, then we need to sign real talent and not squad players if we're actually going to win things.

I started off pretty positive this summer, but now it's becoming clear exactly what our players think of our club, I'm finding it hard to look forward with positivity. Who knows, maybe Wenger will make some awesome signings, and we'll do the business. He's got to pull his bloody finger out though.

Is wenger serving the club or himself ? Is he showing these players too much loyalty or respect ? I am only asking cos I wonder if at times like this if wenger should be more hardline even though we all know he wont be
Until wenger comes down hard on players that fail to show the club its due respect then I cannot see this crap changing but I have always stated on here that the players need to see more the club show more ambition rather than just hear about ambition  Sadly I dont see that changing anytime soon either :x :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

New story on Sky Sports now. Adebayor quoted as saying that it would actually be benificial for the club if he left because of the massive profit we wouldd make out of him.

(I can't disagree with that!)

The club and he will decide next week...until then we can only hope...

If we can get close to £30 million for the turd and we have a replacement of similar or more ability llined up for less then happy days!

I agree with whoever said we are starting to look like a stepping stone club!

Remember thedays a few years ago when AC Milan players said they would like to play for Arsenal!

Evey summer, every bloody fucking summer we have these shananigans. Henry, Vieira, Adebayor.....the list just goes on and on. As always, I'm trying to turn this round into some sort of positive and rather than think that it's necessarily a fault of the club's it's more that Wenger turns these players into someone that other clubs are after and the tapping up starts which then ends up in the same result. To call the club a stepping stone is wrong. I'm saying that Flamini had an attraction to Italy cos of his Dad, Hleb, well Hleb is Hleb...and Adebayor is unfortunately just another Anelka scenario - 1 good season and he thinks he's Europe's top dog. If it's true that he wants £120k then what can you do? Ronaldo is a classic example of showing that there is no loyalty these days. Players just think $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ or that they want to play for their boyhood teams or in the case of Hleb, want to protect their hearing!!!! It's simple, if you don't want to stay for whatever reason, then go. The club will survive without you. Don't like it from a club stability point of view, but we won't be held to ransom. Get the English in, Crouch knows what a privelege it is to play for Arsenal!!!!!!!!!!!!! (sort of joking but you get my drift!)

This is well and dandy but are any of you really really concerned that wenger will refuse to sell these 2 cnuts :?: As fans we are disgusted and rightly want them removed from our club for as much money as possible at great speed but does wenger feel the same way ? I very much doubt it which is why I questioned earlier if wenger is really serving the club :( These players should be bombed out, they should be aware of how much their betrayal his pissed off the fans but of course booing a player in any circumstance is wrong isnt it ? :banghead:

I can't think of any player in recent times who has indicated they want to leave and have been told they can't go. Wenger will let them go if they want to go cos he like we will know that there's no point in keeping someone whose heart isn't in it. Sale price is a tricky thing but if Adebayor can attract £25m+ then we all know we should bite the other club's hand off!

As far as booing is concerned, well apart from Eboooooooooooe, no it's not justified! But it never really comes to that cos when so much shit has gone on like Adebayor's puffed up press conference there really is only one answer. Bridges have been burnt, the trust has gone (just like ManUre fans with the tart) and being shown the door is I'm afraid the only answer.

Adebayor

One good season & suddenly he wants a kings ransom or to move ....no commitment - something he showed plenty of times last season on the pitch.

Goodbye - remember what happens to most players when they leave us for a "Bigger & better club" - they flop or fail.

He exceeded all expectations last season - what will his attitude be like if we dig our heels in? ...ship him out now, fast before he ruins team spirit & get some players who want to play for us with the class & commitment of Bergkamp, Henry etc over recent years

Remember - while he might have scored 30 goals last season ...6 were against Derby & his first CL goal ever came in injury time at San Siro courtesy of a bit of Theo's magic. Lets cash in on him & Hleb & move onwards & upwards - but lets do it quickly!

Here here njac, couldn't have put it better myself. It's a free world, we all change jobs from time to time, but don't treat Arsenal Football Club like a piece of shit with 'look at me aren't I a superstar' press conferences.
