EL-Z, how many 19 or 21 year olds are playing that regularly for Chelsea or Man U? At the moment we have 10 or probably have any real chance of being a squad player or more (Cesc, Vela, Walcott, Big Dane, Denilson, Ramsey, Song, Djorou, Vitto, Traore). How many have broken into the first time and made it their own? Cesc. How many are players with nine goals last year in the EPL? One. For all our breaking into the side, all but one are squad players and some are quite far down the list yet I wouldn't advocate getting rid of them for not being super stars
Man U have Anderson, Nani, Evans, Simpson, Frazier. How many had 9 goals in the Prem last season? None. How many are that regular? Two. Chelsea have Mikel, Sinclair and Franco di Santo. Same question as last time, 1 and 0. Liverpool have Babel, Lucas, Leto, Damien Plessis, Nemeth and Emiliano Insúa. I doubt there are that many fans of either of the three clubs that would demand these players for not having taken first team places yet and in truth, it isn't that many breaking through yet at such a young age.
Nobody is so foolish as to compare any of our younger player to Cesc openly but yet, if a player hasn't set the world alight by 21, we blast them and say he isn't good enough. Heaven help us if Wilshire has a bad year, he will go for certain England international to not good enough, to "why isn't he being picked" too "must break into first team". I don't expect many of the players at the recent 19 Euro's to be playing half as regularly as Walcott has or Bigg Dane has. At 21, they are still learning their trade and need more patience then we seem willing to give

Only kidding! Some good points.
I personally don't rate NB that highly; his technique is poor and his vision is terrible most times, but he is young and he is in the right place to learn...
