Victims FC to win the League, or who else will?

I reckon finishing 2nd the season after coming 7th, is quite a success, especially for a manager who hasn't 30 years experience.
I'll be more impressed if he does it next year without Suarez, being in Europe and not flopping out of every domestic cup competition first chance they get.

Really
So what progress have we made ?

Defend your Lord and Master for this season's capitulation.

4th again, no-where near challenging to lift the title with half a dozen matches to go.

Errrrm yes, if we progressed upwards by 5 we would have won the league at a canter- so whats your excuse for Kallstrom as the star signing to help us when Theo and Rambo were out for many weeks in Jan just as the collapse started :?

Liverpool don't have a sugar daddy and they finished comfortably above us :rubchin:

Everton don't have a sugar daddy and they ran us all the way :rubchin:

I'd say they are spelled similarly enough that your average Mouser has probably been blaming "Palace" since 1989! :-P

Afc bit funny how you've been hanging onto the view that success is relative (and 4th place constitutes an achievement for us) but now that Liverpool have blown it suddenly second is nowhere and no success.

You're not suggesting that AKB's use very selective and very subjective "evidence" to defend Arsene are you?!!

As an Arsenal supporter I fully accept that Liverpool have had a better season than us in the league and that fourth is no achievement for us. I am disgusted with our failure to compete in the big games and ultimately for the title. I like a lot of others here and across football, judging by the songs of Everton and Man City supporters recently, are enjoying Liverpool's bottling of the title because of (A) The unbelievable brown nosing by the media over their "inevitable" title. Each sports programme has a Liverpool pundit or two to salivate over them. and (B) The sense of entitlement that goes with Liverpool supporters, this ramming of their history down our throats by kids and even adults that haven't a clue. I have no issue with genuine Liverpool supporters , but in my part of the World I have witnessed first hand unbelievable rubbish from people who know as much about Liverpool as my dog.
