The 2015 Transfer Rumours Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

the playing mantis wrote:aw saying he may be forced to buy a cb now because of debauchys and gibbs injuries, saying he is now short at cb as monreal will be needed at left back and debauchy could play there but is out now.

what a c unt. insinuating he had enough cover had debauch and gibbs not been injured. monreal and debauchy who have never done it before are his solution to cb cover.

its as if its an up yours to the fans his attitude over strenghtening.

maybe we need to reverse psychology him, if the media and us say we have plenty of CB and DM options, and not enough lightweigt attacking midfielders he will go and sign a CB and DM to spite us.

Because admitting otherwise means that he went into the season criminally understrength and that people who haven't managed a day in football knew more than him.

Now listen up you ungrateful bastards......Arsene says we all need to be 'patient' ok and that he will be 'doing everything he can to make a new signing before the end of the month'

"We have to be patient but creative. If something interesting comes up, it is something we can do."

The key word there is "If". ie he hasn't got any definite plans or targets. He'll sniff around the bins to see who's free.

Why'd you have to be patient, Arsene? If your fucking team did its job you'd be banging on the door of your wanted transfer targets by midnight 31st Dec.

Oh wait.. I forgot you only have a bunch of wankers on the back bench.

Not that I think he's going to cut it at the top; but does anyone find it slightly strange that we're flogging the bloke who has scored 20 goals this season, and yet we're only loaning out the bloke with one? :?

What are we getting for Afobe anyway, £1m? If there is a sell-on I bet we'll get stitched when Wolves swap him for someone else.

He'll be "doing everything he can" except...
-identifying areas of the team that need strengthening
-identifying areas of the squad decimated with injuries
-identifying players that will be an improvement on the current team
-identifying players that will strengthen the squad
-bidding the going market value for any players available
-being in the country on transfer deadline day
.....Other than that "everything he can" :blah:

Seemingly The Sun is reporting that arbeloa is rejecting the chance of joining us (and some other prem club that I cant think of) in favour of rejoining the victims - yes that is the same useless arbeloa who is now at real Madrid and who got torn apart for the duration of his time in hubcap land  If that useless c.unt ever joined us it would be the end of the road for me - I would actually prefer eboue at right back

so he's not as good as Bergkamp, Henry. Giroud or Sanchez?

I couldnt care less what Arsenal followers think, Sanogo has been goood enough to play at Under-21 level for France when thye have a lot of talent

its what happens when billionaire money turns you into one of the richest clubs in the world the fans become spoilt, indulged and complacent
