I wanted some advice on getting a Banner made (professionally). I made my own and a very decent effort it is 6ft x 4ft – But I realised that if it rains the Red Dye will run on the White material and it could end up looking like something out of an episode of “Dexter” .

So if any of those who have had their banners made by a company etc can you post the details on here please? I feel certain there may be other Gooners who might need similar info etc.

Also as soon as a time etc is set for the next Protest/Banner Walk can you post it up on here...I :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

I used PrintABanner.co.uk, the good thing about them is that they have an online design tool to build the banner first.
The banner are made of PVC.

We need to keep this momentum going. Don't really care about Lincolns big day.

Armoury for 3.30 then march to directors entrance seems good to me for Saturday.

Agree, even a silent protest in respect to the FA Cup would make even more noise and avoid disrespecting Lincolns coverage...
Not every protest has to be noisy, chop and change keep em guessing!
The banners do their job no end...

With all due respect, stuff Lincolns coverage - they are going to get enough anyway.
We need to concentrate on our club not anyone elses.

Exactly. Fuck Lincoln. What do we owe them? We have a cancer eating away at our club.

Priorities, methinks. :rubchin:

Because our owner values money ahead of trophies and because so many of our modern fans are JCL Wenger-worshipping sheep, basically.

If there's a protest for the Lincoln game, then I am there :barscarf:

I suppose there should be protests at every game now. I'm up for it. Obviously anyone who isn't local can't be expected to attend, but anyone in the London area who can get there, should get there.

This may mean I miss the start of each home game, but that's probably doing me a favour, even if my 'match reports' on here won't be up to standard 8)

We need to work out if we're staying in once place, or demonstrating up until kick-off. I don't think we should assemble too early, perhaps an hour before the game would do it. Some banners need to stay outside until kick-off at least, so non-match-goers like me can have a rallying point, as last night after all the photos were taken outside the Armoury it all dispersed pretty quickly as people went into Cashburton, leaving the likes of me clueless as what to do next. It seemed that almost all of the demonstrators were match-goers, whereas I had thought there would be a fair amount who weren't going in, so we could continue the protest until at least ten minutes after kick-off.

Anyway, let's get this next protest formalized :barscarf:

"It's never for your fault, it's never your faaaaaaaaaaaaaauuuuuuuuuuuuuuulllllllllllttttttt, Arsene Wenger it's never your fault".

My favourite chant from the march, sung with gusto, and so prescient considering the double speak he came up with at the press conference after that shambles of a game. My best night out at the Corporate bowl for years. Thanks to everyone here for organising the march, I committed late yesterday afternoon when I read about the twitter feed regarding Wenger telling the players he was leaving. i'm so paranoid now that I though it was fed by the club to put everyone at their ease - fake news so to speak. That was it - I was going to be there come hell or high water, bit late but went round the whole stadium singing, without a drop of alcohol for lubrication. No need, this was proper passion. Not sorry to say that Wenger has brought this all on himself with his arrogant, deluded, despotic behaviour. This bloke is a dictator and needs to be ousted, shame we cant put him on a plane to South America, and not to kick a ball around in Rio either. Then we can move on to wee Wiggy Kranky. Cheers glen

My first post here. Well done back Mark for organising this. I was very proud of what we achieved considering the short notice. The songs were simple, loud and clear.

I thought maybe we set off a bit too early. We definitely need a megaphone next time and more imaginative banners. But for a first stab, it was a success. I was expecting grief when we got to the stadium but half of the tourists probably didn't understand what was going on. They were too busy filming us. Biggest regret was going to watch the game after. Not because of the result, it was like Disney land in there.

Also the lad who invaded the pitch must've forgotten his banner?

Lads - we've got to be smart about the next protest. The police leapt on me last night as people pointed me out as the organiser. Luckily the police lad that I was dealing with was brilliant and very helpful. But - he said "we've been monitoring social media so we knew what you were planning". We must keep the police onside because last night they were helping to clear a path for us.

We've got momentum now and we achieved more last night than anyone has in 10 years. We cannot afford for this impetus to drop but we have to ensure that everyone remembers what we're trying to achieve.

I reckon that 3.30 is way too early for Saturday. We'd achieve much more with a 30 minute or so loud and intense demo nearer kick off. Flags banners and big chants is what will generate the most coverage.

Also - look at the videos from last night. We sounded so loud outside Highbury and as we came down the slope to Bear Roundabout. Next demo should be somewhere that amplifies the sound.

Yup. Agreed. They knew we were coming and had portable cam corders all over the place but I must say they were helpful. I think one of them got amongst us when we got to the amoury. It looked like he was looking for someone. He was quite a small Bobby? About 5foot sorry.

what I increasingly don't understand is who are these people???
it has always been bad at the bowl but definitely in the last two years it has got to the point where I just can't relate to the match going fanbase anymore!
