12 goals + 14 assists and our player of the season last year not good enough for you then?I Hate Hleb wrote:Based on what - have a good season?1989 wrote:I just want Costa, I've been a good boy, c'mon Santa.![]()
By the way, I'm still waiting for Santi to show he's worthy of your 'another Robert Pires' claim and to see the supposedly great free-kick technique with either foot that he allegedly possesses.
Costa is brilliant. Watch him play.

I'd gladly take Costa because anyone is better than the FatDane, but people shouldn't get carried away with him. He's 25ish and has had half a good season in a very good team. Anyone remember Benteke, Cisse, Ba etc?

At the moment he's flying over Africa and Wenger's hoping he's going to pick up some 'super quality' presents there to drop off in London in only a few hours

Didn't Walcott get more than that in both categories, from less appearances? And most people on here say he still isn't good enough!!1989 wrote:12 goals + 14 assists and our player of the season last year not good enough for you then?I Hate Hleb wrote:Based on what - have a good season?1989 wrote:I just want Costa, I've been a good boy, c'mon Santa.![]()

Re: watching Costa play. You've made this mistake before with me 1989 (might even have been when you were waxing lyrical about Santi being as good as Bobby P.) - presuming that people that have an alternative point of view on a player obviously haven't watched as much of the player as you!!

Re: January transfer rumours thread
Arsenal have been quoted £22m if they want to sign Newcastle's French midfielder Yohan Cabaye in the January transfer window.
Full story: Daily Mail
Cabaye might be coming
Would be genius too.......another midfielder is just what we need

Re: January transfer rumours thread
We are linked with Batshuaiyi, meanwhile United goes for Reus.
Same old, same old.. We got Özil, now it's all under 10m transfers for next 5 years.
And if he signs Cabaye he really lost his mind.
Oh and Sagna is leaving, what about signing a new RB, Wenker?

If Chauncey Wenger lays out £22m on Cabaye i'm gonna lose my shit. Firstly, he's not what we need. Secondly, he's worth £10m tops. 30 years in football? For fucks sake.SteveO 35 wrote:Arsenal have been quoted £22m if they want to sign Newcastle's French midfielder Yohan Cabaye in the January transfer window.

Re: January transfer rumours thread
Another line from the Daily Mail is that Arsenal have been quoted a staggering £22million by Newcastle as they prepare a stunning move for Yohan Cabaye in the January transfer window. Arsene Wenger is thought to be after another creative talent in central midfield but they will be rivalled by Paris St GermainDan_85 wrote:If Chauncey Wenger lays out £22m on Cabaye i'm gonna lose my shit. Just read that on skysports.com this morning. I actually believe that shit for brains could possibly use his entire transfer budget signing another midfielder
