As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Arsenal FC not PLC would like to put the record straight regarding the current stories about our beliefs and the Arsène Wenger Banner which has been featured in the press of late.
We believe we are the voice for the growing number of fans that feel Arsène Wenger should either step down from his role as coach or rectify the clear problems within the team. Obviously we don’t represent everyone but it is quite clear that we speak for countless number of fans that feel the once great man is on the decline and has been for some time.
The founder’s of the group are season ticket holders and away game members, which means we have a huge following of like minded Gooners. When speaking about the problems surrounding Arsenal, a large portion of fans share our views. Many fans accuse the board of our failings over the last 5 years; however, the shortcomings lie with Arsène Wenger.
We know we don’t represent everyone; however our numbers are growing daily as the club continues to decline.
It is quite clear that tactically Wenger is making dire mistakes, he has no plan B and defensively we are a joke which is plain to see for everybody except himself. We know the squad isn’t world class but its basic organisation and cohesion are the problem, some of the mistakes would fit into a Sunday League team not the Premier League.
This season alone we have played more players than the entire of last season.
Neither the board nor the lack of investment provided to the manager are to blame.
He refuses to seek help in a defensive coach and he refuses to change his style of play and this is why we are so concerned.
Many fans speak of the past when Wenger was a legend however, looking back to the team of the Invincibles, we were a different team in every way.
Most of the squad were tall, fast and physical that had a high work rate. We had a different formation and it worked as we won trophies. Ever since 2006, Wenger has changed it all; we have won nothing and been on the decline year on year.
We feel this is going to get worse and we are very worried about what is going on. There is no pressure from above to force him into change hence the importance of the voice of the paying fan.
Ivan Gazadis said himself that Wenger is only accountable to the fans as they back him [Arsène Wenger] 100%. So here we are voicing our dissatisfaction!
Arsenal are a big club, one of the biggest in the world with one the best stadiums in the world, along with the most expensive ticket prices.
Adding to this, Wenger is one of the highest paid managers in Europe on an estimated £7 million a year.
Yet with all this going on we sell our best players without investing in the team with the same quality that is required. The same excuses always arise, that we can not afford the wages, yet we can afford £7million a season for a certain someone. We as fans get taken for granted and this was the original point of the group that started back In May.
Since May we have witnessed the worst start for over 50 years, the worse score line in over 100 years and a run of form since February that can only be described as relegation standard.
We have an owner that shows no interest in the club, yet has blind faith in a manger that is on his worse run of form in 15 years!
Then we have the ramblings of a mad man who tells us that we are not a big club if we sell our best players, and that certain players wouldn’t be sold.
To quote him ‘"Imagine the worst situation - we lose Fabregas and Nasri - you cannot convince people you are ambitious after that" However, that same day Cesc was sold to Barca.
It was confirmed that we had £45 million before the selling of any player yet we still couldn’t sign a quality player that would help the team through this very bad run of form.
We would like to add that Arsenal FC not PLC will not be holding a protest on Sunday; all we wanted to do is display our banner.
Other banners are allowed in the stadium yet we have been told ours will be confiscated even though it meets the safety criteria the club sets for banners inside the ground.
We would like to show you the email we received from the club……
“Thank you for your further communication regarding displaying banners at Emirates Stadium and for attaching a picture for me.
While recognising your right to express your opinion, we cannot allow this banner to be displayed at Emirates Stadium. As a Club we fully support our manager and so this is not appropriate for display. I must inform you that if you were to bring this to the Stadium, it would be confiscated by our stewards for the duration of the game.â€
I was only going to this game because I was given a free ticket. Sounds like it's going to be more fun watching the crowd developments rather than the action on the field.

Mikey, maybe there should have been a mention for the lack of passion, heart, courage and spirit in the team and the rewarding of mediocre players who care nothing for the club with new contracts?
EDIT - Oh and the lies fed to the fans by AW in the summer about strengthening, then only signing players because others were injured. (Arteta only signed due to Wilshere's injury, Mertesacker because of Verm's etc.)
Mikey surely if you have the numbers you suggest you could get enough of you for sunderland?
Anyway, I really hope there is a bit of a double bluff on here in regards to when it will be shown. And the whole world get to see it live on sky on sunday.
...i dont even agree with the sentiment and still cant wait to see it unveiled

Well said Mikey, I think in the above paragraph that something should have been said about our wage stucture, aren't we still 3rd in the top payers in the premiership, paying players of below average standard too much and putting them on long term contracts and they're being paid so much that we can only get rid of them on loan, would have also mentioned Wenger's post match ramblings, his gracelessness in defeat, and his stubborn faith in players that are not fit to wear our shirt.
I doubt it will happen at Sunderland. We have a plan in place as we never knew it would get this big..
We have lots of support on a daily basis from various people and fan groups. However the akb’s really are in force and we don’t have enough time to get this in motion for Sunday.
We will be on talksport later, that document was just to outline some of the problems.
Also, I know Arsenal FC Not PLC is always keen to state "This is not a protest"! after every other sentence, but can't we actually have a protest?
The flag is a great idea, but this 'when will it be used, can it be used' uncertainty sadly means we're all now skirting around the real issue. Let's go in full-force - march on the streets, get the media coverage and show just how many of us feel this way.
My suggestion would be before the Stoke game. Not a peaceful march, not a respectful parade, but a full-on protest. Rioting not required.
