THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Therefore they are hardly likely to want to sell him to someone else. Even if they did, it would cost a whole lot more than we could afford, so it's just not realistic at any level.

Never say never. Who thought we would be able to buy Özil? Wenger might shock us again.

Ozil is the most un-Wenger-like signing ever.
I still find it difficult to understand this signing. (Welcome it - yes. Understand it - no.)

All of a sudden we start looking to sign big names like Rooney, Higuan, Suarez, Ozil ...

Well I say "all of a sudden", but really for me it was after another trophyless groundhog season with Wenger doing all the same shit and saying all the same shit. And having too much power at the club

Season ticket waiting lists hitting the floor. Bouldy and Wenger obviously not happy together on the bench. (Although this has improved massively this season). Discontent from the fans. Banners, booing, fights in the stands. Possible rumblings from the board. Open criticism from AKB's of Wenger no less! Media starting to see that the king has no clothes. ......

1 world class signing (Ozil) does not take away the heartache he has brought to us for the past 8 years

No shit Sherlock ! In other news....bear takes shit in woods

Only when I've worked in football for 30 years would I ever realise that selling your captain, only world class player (at the time) and golden boot winner to a team in the same division....would have a destabilising effect on the team

Still Wenger out, overwhelmingly

I see out latest 'trophy' to be proud of is the most PL points in the year to date for 2013. I'll make room on the mantelpiece next to the groundsman awards and the ladies trophies
