PLAYER TRANSFER THREAD

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

The papers again today have us linked with Blaise Matuidi from St Ettiene. Jesus the guy is only 5ft 9" - has wenger something against signing a big physical DM ? How is this guy going to help us win the physical battles and help us defend any aerial bombardment ? :?

Even though I have just added to this thread I aint half finding it boring now

Augie, he's actually taller than Mr Dolphin-Head Diarra, but I get your point about someone taller and about this thread also....

I think we will sign someone but not anyone who is already currently better than the starting 11 we have, maybe an extra backup.

By Richard Clarke

Arsène Wenger has NOT made a move for Blaise Matuidi.

Tuesday morning’s media suggested the Arsenal manager had revived his interest in the St Etienne midfielder. But at a press conference a few hours later Wenger could not have been more blunt about the speculation. In fact, despite the approaching transfer deadline, the Frenchman said he was not near to bringing in anyone.

As pointed out above, if we lock it we'll end up with dozens of silly transfer threads. Best to keep it all in one place.

Simple solution if you find it annoying, don't read the thread. :D

Any way, when I put on my rose tints, I am convinced that AW is waiting for tonight. As soon as we have the CL place in the bag, our well oiled :? transfer machine will burst into action and we'll see 2/3 transfers by Monday!
:-P  :barscarf: :barscarf:

anyway, i don't think we need 3. i'd actually be sad if we bought so many players. just a DM and a CH if senderos leaves are ok for me.
