It was a retweet from the Daily Telegraph journalist for Liverpool and Manchester:

Joe Cole not target for Mufc. Spokesman: "Joe Cole not a target. We won't be signing him." Straight fight btwn Asnl/Spurs
radford says ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
As I understand it, Radford has inserted a vuvuzela up the arse he so often talks out off. :D

Strangely Man Utd are now favourites on sky bet despite their spokesman ruling them out of the race.

Tottenham are 10/1 on there and read somewhere that Harry has said Joe Cole won't speak to them, seemingly this was on talksport.

So at least we know Cole is not as stupid as he looks...

If someone from United has really said they are not interested i would have to assume that to be the case..So that would only realistically leave us and Citeh as possibles and i find it hard to believe he would go to Citeh..

Tbh this has all the hallmarks of us, i can't think of any other team that would keep a deal like this, this quiet for so long, it's a good sign that he is coming to us...

One can only wish, as long as its not at the expense of Cesc.

Feel a bit more confident of Joe joining us now. The only reason he'd go to Man City would be for more money, but he supposedly wants to stay in London so I'm pretty sure he'll join us over the Sp*ds.

Actually there is one other possibility that no one has considered....

Didn't mourinho sign Cole ? if he did it wouldn't be beyond the realms of possibility that he would want to bring him on a free to Madrid, spanish football would suit Cole..

Joe Cole was in a year before Jose, but the possiblity is still there.

Mourhinio was never a huge fan of Cole's all round game iirc. He prefered the Robben/Duff either side, and although Cole often through sheer hard work, got in the team, Mourhinio was never sold on him. I doubt Real will sign him.

Tbh I'm getting fed up with it, I'm pretty convinced he's off to spurs no matter what.

But why? What do Spurs have that we don't? Other than English players.....

I just seem him as a Spurs player, I can't see him in an Arsenal shirt, but I can see himw earing that shit shirt next year. Plus Redknap is there. They have CL football, and will pay shit loads for him in wages. Spurs will pay anything to get him.
