As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I agree lets keep the critisism down and Sunderland might actually buy him this summer getting the useless cunt off our hands oops
Martin O'Neil is a decent manager theres no way on earth tha he would buy Barry Bender on a PERMANENT deal.
Putting the cat amongst the pigeons do you reckon that Arsene has sent him out on loan so that he can get enough first team football to replace RVP.
We all know how our Dear Leader loves "internal options"
Billy's boots never made it to their bench today. I'm sure that he was not injured. We can hope that he gets a kick against Boro in the next round and plays a blinder, scores a hat-trick and then that nice Mr. Gibson stumps up £20m for his services, as he is not good enough for the Mackems, let alone Arsenal. With respect SAFC.
Maybe there is a clause in his loan preventing him from playing cup matches ? I fcuking hope that is the case otherwise o'neill might be looking to send the *word censored* back to us early

I reckon that his attitude stinks and, MON does not suffer fools gladly. The bloke is not a team player, shame really, because he requires a team to carry him.
Can you imagine that the bloke earns more in a year than some greats of footy would have earned in several lifetimes of playing the game?

He's not good enough for Arsenal but I think he could be good enough for us- I'll wait and see what O'Neill gets out of him. He missed this one due to being rested having picked up a minor knock at Wigan (which led to him having to be substituted late on), I seriously doubt that O'Neill has simply had enough of him bearing in mind that he had a hand in 3 of our 4 goals at Wigan in his last appearance (slightly lucky to win the free kick for the first but still he won it, he won the ball back off their defender for the second and he played a lovely low cross in for the third).
A lot of our fans are coming to the conclusion that he simply needs to be managed properly, and he cant play as a lone striker because he drifts out wide and into midfield too often- basically he's a number 10 not a number 9. Many of us have seen through his "confidence" though- its put on, he tries too hard to seem to be confident, his run through against Man City showed how lacking in confidence the lad really is. He needs a manager to put his arm around him and play him in a system where he can flourish and he needs to play in this system enough to replace his put on pretend "confidence" with real confidence. He's like the lad at school who kept going on about how many women he's fucked and how much he can drink when in reality he's a virgin whose never had a pint, the swagger and the confidence is an act to mask a deep seated insecurity.
Dunno about a cuddle. A kick up the 'arris and a 75% wage cut. The man is full of it ........off the pitch. I agree that MOn will take a softly, softly approach, that's his way. I also think that Nic is too cock sure to listen and take advice. Not sure about him being a No.10 either.
See you in the semi's SAFC

Well, I agree that O'Neill will try the fairly soft approach, we'll see in time if thats what he needs I suppose. For his sake it had better be because the season is running out and he needs to start really impressing people if hes to get the move that he (and Arsenal!) wants. Yep, see ya im the semis mate, lets hope both clubs have a decent cup run- we could both do with it at the minute, good luck against the scum from Leeds
A virgin ?? Surely Not ? Wouldnt it be ironic when you consider all the players steve bruce's daughter has shagged if bendter couldnt even score with her ?

Well no, obviously nicklas isnt a virgin, theres not a single woman on this earth who wouldnt want to sleep with him, but his put on confidence is still just a mask. I reckon he's a lot more confident with the birds than he is with a football. Like I say, just needs a big cuggle and he'll be fine
