Nah I'm still in Notts after university etc, moving back to Cardiff next September to start my real job

To be fair aren't we talking about a bloke who has won 5 ranking titles in his life? If somebody offers him a 5-figure sum to throw one frame, which may well make no overall difference to a match he's got a big chance of losing anyway in a tournament he has little chance of getting to the business end of, I'm sure he's doing okay out of that.

I can see where you're coming from NB but it is the damage he is likely to cause or have done a sport that has seen its glory days (in terms of monetary sponsorship) disappear down the road...(since the advertising of smoking/cigarettes was (rightly) banned)...also youngsters coming into snooker - a bit like the way athlete cheats (using drugs to enhance their performance/s - it simply gives the sport a not good image.

It just seems like he's put all he has done/achieved - titles etc in the bin
