Goetze saga

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Did he have a run in with Jayson?! That being said, now he's crocked we'll most certainly be buying him.

Its one of these really fucked up injuries which could sideline him a lot longer than the announced 6-8 weeks. There apparently is no known specific treatment for it. Just ask Arjen Robben about it.

He's supposed to get these injuries AFTER he joins.

Fucking hell lad buck your ideas up. The rules are simple really for attacking midfielders

1. Join club fit and healthy with a decent goalscoring record and not afraid to shoot on sight

2. Spend a season adapting to the strict no shooting rules apart from at dead ball situations where you are free to hit the wall or row Z

3. Pick up a "two, maybe three weeks" type injury before spending 18 months on the sidelines with a mysterious injury

Rosicky managed to achieve this when joining from Dortmund. Looks like Goetze has just gone straight to step 3

That's OK mate. I said I was prepared to allow a Summer singing of Goetze to still count.......

....then I'll pelt you with rotten fruit on 1st September :D

To be honest Sammy, your thread about Goetze has been a welcome upgrade on Joe Cole
