Bab"s.....
David Villa was the top scorer at the Euro's? So was Milan Baros.
And Podolski was valued at 10m because he's in the last year of his contract. If price was the right criteria with which to judge the quality of a player then the likes of Kompany (6m), Vidic (5m), Özil (9m), etc would have all been rather poor signings.

Call me a cynic but could this have anything to go with shirt sales in the Far East?mcdowell42 wrote:Arsenal may enter the race to sign Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder Shinji Kagawa. He is a good player though, not sure what kind of form he's been in or whether he's had any injuries lately minddonaldo wrote:Call me a cynic but could this have anything to go with shirt sales in the Far East?mcdowell42 wrote:Arsenal may enter the race to sign Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder Shinji Kagawa. Naaah Big D, it's all to do with the FACT that *word censored* offside are indeed a bunch of *word censored* who are forever trying to start up rumours aboutArsenal, players both joining and leaving, anything they say is for all intents and purposes a load of uttershytebollocks and shouldn't even be considered worthy of being repeated.donaldo wrote:Call me a cynic but could this have anything to go with shirt sales in the Far East?mcdowell42 wrote:Arsenal may enter the race to sign Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder Shinji Kagawa. Wenger on transfers........"It's going to be a quiet summer"
Yes folks, same old same old from the muppet in charge. Get used to seeing names linked and no-one signing because the dictator is not interested in making Arsenal a trophy winning team at all.

or he won't be increasing any of the offers already made...
Re: McDowell's VANITY 'Rumours' Thread
We've made our one 'biggish' signing in Podolski, now all that's needed is a reserve player from the Bundesliga and the 18 year old from Crewe and its another Gooner transfer window
RvP to be sold within the final week of August - nice tidy little profit and away we go once more. Perhaps next season we'll concede 10 goals in a match somewhere and proudly fly the flag "Who'd heard of Van Persie 7 yrs ago"
Has he robbed you of all the season ticket money yet ?

I'm sorry but that is unacceptable - when you need players badly, as we do, then you have to be willing to pay that little bit extra to get those players. If you identify players and think they are going to improve our team enough to make a bid then how then do you back out and decide to stick as you are ? I mean if you have confidence in the players you already have, and bear in mind that these players have us sitting 19 pts off the top 2, then surely you wouldnt need to bid or buy other players ?
Please please please wenger just fcuking fcuk off and take your penny piching economics and internal solutions with you
