Their fans and players were so nervous at 2-1 which was ridiculous given the circumstances. They completely bottled it yesterday and did their best to end up with nothing. It's a sign of things to come for them.
Now now mate - words like that will upset many of their fans on here !

It takes him ten yards to get up to speed and by that time he has been left behind by most oppo defenders. Yes, compared to Giroud, he is quicker, but then so is my dead grandmother. In the big scheme of things Welbeck has no real pace, certainly not enough to play that lone striker role in a 4-5-1 especially when added to his often terrible first touch.

Not having a pop at Welbeck here. In fairness to him he has really put in a shift since he came back and should be starting ahead of the woefully out of form Giroud, but let's not get carried away, lads!
You seen Wellbeck play live? He is much quicker than Giroud ok nowhere near as quick as Walcott but hes no slouch by any standards. He's also not bad on the ball both carrying it and laying it off on the ground or in the air.

Going back to his speed, he is quick enough to allow Ozil to thread balls behind defenders that he can run onto and beat the defender for pace in a lot of instances.

Can barely remember us winning a 50/50 yesterday, whilst I think that the whole physicality thing tends to be overplayed yesterday was embarrassing at times.

Bellerin was the worst culprit for it - he is still young so it's understandable that he is finding his feet to an extent but he just hesitates with everything. Completely backs off wingers for fear of getting skinned, his first touch going forward is generally putting his foot on the ball instead of getting it out of his feet and using his pace, dallies when there's a loose ball instead of being decisive and dangles a foot in. Although he did get two assists!

DB10 normally I agree with most of what you say but to be honest I think I'm more than big enough and ugly enough to form my own opinion of him without getting carried away

Giroud and Walcott are so poor I'd take the chance if it doesn't work after two or three games then fine but right now I'll reserve my own judgement rather than be told whether i'm right or wrong by others. :box:

Agreed Wellbeck is best option up front at present, he does move around a lot and gets in some good positions, he also has a good attitude, unlike Giroud and Wally

Yes, but he must learn to stick his tongue out and look skyward when he misses, and preferably have a little laugh when he misses his 3rd clear cut chance. That's what real strikers too

Disappointing to shoot ourselves in the foot yet again in such a crucial game but relieved to finally show some character after our recent shocking performances. Coq had a shocker but the positives were Elneny coming in and giving a bit of stability in the midfield.. We must stick to this midfield lineup, especially away from home. Also Sanchez and Ramsay both getting on the score sheet and hopefully kick starting their form for the run-in..

Didn't hear enough of "Sol Campbell, he's one of our own" either, that was disappointing. :?

The Police at Tottenham were even worse than usual , and it looked deliberate !
A very small amount of Swamp dwellers caused a lot of trouble for them and they panicked big time .
There was no more than 100 spuds playing up with many others joining in from the back with pushing and I phone filming but they couldn't handle it despite having 100's at that corner plus horses .
By putting up the barriers they made it worse for anyone approaching them and they just let the bullies try and pick off people going in.
When the incident occurred which has been filmed Arsenal and spurs fans got mixed and moved together with many a spud getting lamped but when the road was crossed the police seemed to vanish and you see a few get harassed by the barriers but what u don't see is behind that about 20 Arsenal just standing and scattering a whole group of muppets !
