As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

They are mostly shit football-wise with little to no quality in the games, and the hooligan shit is well and truly back now that the East Europeans in particular can travel with ease. Nothing against East Europeans par se but their hooligans are now a serious problem and will be for years to come.
If we have to have Interlull football maybe just have small league groups spread out over 4 years with a final (or semis and a final in different countries) at the end, thus avoiding having 100s of thousands of fans from so many countries descending on one single country for 3 weeks.
TBH I would not miss Interlull football at all if it simply disappeared.
The problem I have with that is that we need international football to keep the big European clubs in check - in my opinion the big clubs now hold way, way too much power in the game, and they have been the prime movers in turning the game I love into nothing but a business. These clubs are driven to broaden the game between the wealthy and the poor clubs, and they don't care how it affects competition. Remove international football and you will then be marginalising the smaller countries too and it will make it that much harder for players from those countries to ever get transferred into the bigger leagues.

But you're fans would not be able to act like street cleaners for a fortnight otherwise.

I wouldn't think it will make a negative impact on players at all tbh. Big clubs will always have scouts in those smaller countries. it might have a negative impact on small clubs in those smaller countries. Who knows? We are also already moving towards a feeder club system in football and that most likely will be the way most promising young players from smaller countries will get their chance at bigger clubs in the future.
Also, I should point out that my original argument there was that the concept of the 3 week tournament should be abandoned - not Interlull football altogether.
But as I say, if the Interlull did disappear, I'd not be too concerned tbh.
Fucking hell, that England team looks pathetically anonymously average. It would finish about 15th in the Premiership. Bollocks to international football.
For someone who smokes 90 woodbines a day chat shit get banged is a seriously fast fucker. Another shit game in what to date has been a shit tournament.
SVK v ENG has gotta be the worst game of football in terms of quality I have ever had the misfortune to see.
And the worst of the whole bunch is Wilshere. Total shit.
