Not much more fun then! I'm sure you'll agree that rape cases are pretty grim, I sat in on a domestic rape case before and even when reported the conviction rates are truly appalling, you could see from the first morning the bloke was going to walk (not saying he was definitely guilty btw, just he never had a chance of going down).
There were four rape cases being heard while I was there, was on the selection panel for three of them. Of the four, two acquittals, one found guilty, the last I don't know about. Oh, and a paedo who'd absconded so was tried (and found guilty) in absentia. He got 15 years, so if he ever is caught he'll probably do about 7 1/2 years.

No, he's not out, seem to recall reading that it was found on his laptop during the investigations into Jo Yeates murder, but for whatever reason he wasn't charged at the same time. Possibly because it may have predjudiced the murder charge.

The wanker firebugs up here in the north Perth subs.
55 homes lost to fires.
I am house sitting and just 10k's away, the fires are wiping out communities.
