SUMMER TRANSFERS - Your thoughts on who did and did not sign

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I just hope AW doesn't waste all our transfer cash. I'd rather he spent nothing than give Madrid a stimulus package.

Wenger promising us ' a nice surprise in the morning'....

It won't be what we're hoping for, but he seemed smug when he said it so I'm guessing it's not another French African ...

Ozil, draxler and cesar(GK) would be excellent, but I'm not holding my breath...

Does anyone know if the Palermo Gk we're rumoured to be after is any good?

He's an Italy international, that's all I know about him.

£42 million or on a season long loan :? . I know what Wenger will prefer

I can see it now. Ozil has a blinding season, Bale flops harder than Greg Louganis and Madrid take him back.

Play him wide left, then when Podolski is fit he can be competition for that position and for Cazorla's.

A right back and striker needed too though, and would welcome a centre back for squad numbers.
What we pay £42m so he can be competition for Podolski and Cazorla  For £42m he has to be the first name on the team sheet
The form players must be the first names on team sheet, regardless of price.

Stan collymore twitter
That's from a Stan Collymore parody account:

https://twitter.com/StanCoIIymore/statu ... 4697278465

The account says so:

Parody account. Not affiliated with Stan Collymore. Arsenal fan on the wind up.

Stan Collymore's real account has 444k followers, the parody account only has 2k.

Another reason to stay off Twatter
