weve been linked with him, hopefully hes holding out for a deadline day move to the arsenalRafael van der Vaart has rejected the chance to join Besiktas from Real Madrid and now has only a few days to find himself a new club after being told he must leave the Bernabeu.
The Dutch international was offered a deal worth €5 million-per-season by the Turkish giants, but he was not keen on the move and has turned the transfer down, according to Marca.
Real Madrid have sold Wesley Sneijder and Arjen Robben to Inter and Bayern Munich, respectively, and Van der Vaart will definitely follow them out of the Spanish club.
Despite only joining the side last year for around €13 million, the 26-year-old did not do enough to impress and has not been included in Manuel Pellegrini's plans.
A new order at Real Madrid has seen millions spent on players, and in order to recoup some of that outlay, the club's in-demand stars are being told they can leave.
Van der Vaart is said to be tempted by a move to Bayern Munich after revealing he prefers Germany or England as his next destination, but nothing official has been done.
Blimey Projoe, we're not even mentioned in the text... slightly tenuous, I think...projoe wrote:the closest thing i could find on players coming in is:
