THE NORMAN WISDOM MEMORIAL FILM THREAD

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Avatar. I waited for all the hype and such bollocks to calm down and finally watched it the other night.

Well what a load of stinking, pointless, over-rated shite that was. Shit CGI. Shit script. Cardboard charactarisation. Every fucking cliche in the book. Shit story. No originality. Ooh look - the aliens are a bit like Native Americans in the late 1800s and ooh look the humans are a bit like the invading white American settlers moving out West. Ooh aren't we the clever little film makers?

Sweet Christ. How the fuck is this load of cuntwank the biggest most successful movie ever made??!!

Worst film I have ever seen and anyone that "loved" it is a fucking mongo retard cuntslop.

Haven't seen it, have no desire to see it, will never see it.
I had similar feelings after watching "the shawshank redemption" what a load of fucking sentimental tripe. Dreadfully acted out by Freeman and Robbins.

Excellent film and should get an Oscar for best actor and best supporting actor.Dramatic with a lot of humour which is based on King george V1 stammer and his voice therapist efforts to cure him.

Yeah, cowboy film which to the best of my recollection is far superior to the John Wayne version. Gritty and absorbing with some great acting.

I liked Avatar

Please don't call me names 8)

Watched this last night. One of those films I always heard good things about but never saw. Pretty decent overall but descends into a bit of a mindfuck towards the end. Penelope Cruz is lovely though, and she gets her kit off too! :barscarf:

It sounds like a thriller - Does he cure him? Can he make that speech? Is he still an in-bred first against the wall *word censored*?

Find out, first....in a fucking history book!
