THE FRANKSAV MUSIC THREAD

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

OBG. you're welcome.

For something different maybe try Michael Nyman, The Draughtsman's Contract. A film from 1982, but the music was good.
n.b. I was under the influence of recreational facilities back in those days. :-P

Yeah I'm into all sorts minimalist to death metal... :D

The best minimalist (type) stuff is Steve Reich - (aka; Phase Music) all the instruments play the same melody over and over again, but each starts on a different beat/count and so it kinda sounds swirly and 'phased'...really cool 8) :D

Music for Six Marimba's or Octet Highly Recommended :high5:

He actually said "welcome to the most miserable gig" got a good laugh but I knew what to expect. His daughter was hot and had a great voice.

For anyone that likes or even has a vague interest in "The Who", this is a Brilliant watch....

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0 ... e_Real_Me/

It expires Midnight 8th July 2012...

I've always liked the music of The who, but this really is an absorbing and excellent insight into the album/story of Quadrophenia and the writing/composing/recording of it AND the band in that period of their history, very poignant, poetic, sad and funny.

10/10 for me. :barscarf:
