Totally agree with you donaldo.....if we havent got the funds in the transfer kitty as it now stands then sell some of the peripheral players cos a quality keeper is priceless but of course wenger thinks we can win leagues with a shit load of small fancy dan footballers that will outscore the opposition For an intelligent man wenger doesnt half make some stupid decisions sometimes

You call a 37 year old keeper, a player who has one season's experience playing in france's top division and no international caps plus a moroccan striker with a goal ratio of a goal every 4 games quality signings ?? And on that basis we would have signed everyone from Cruyff to Rudd Hullit - and Neil and Howe were recommended to look at Hullit but his £80,000 transfer fee - plus the nationality/passport issue scuppered the deal.

If it really is between us and our neighbours, we might just get our noses in front.

But even here, there is not a vast amount to choose between the two - or more specifically it comes down to 5 points and one place. Plus of course our wage ceiling might be higher than theirs, so that well prove decisive.
