Fucking brilliant. Flicked over to their game after ours finished in the desperate hope of more blubbering but nothing doing. Despite their hilarious collapse against Palace it was that slip from Gerrard that blew it. All they had to do was avoid defeat against Chavs reserves and it was theirs :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Think they might struggle to reproduce that sort of points tally season. Suarez could sign a new contract and demand to move one day later if it suits him and if he does it again it won't play out so well for anyone involved. EIther way teams will have realised that they're a real attacking threat and will have months to plan on how to counteract it, as well as hitting their gaping defensive weaknesses. To add to their congested fixture list with an added 8-12 CL games they will now be one of the teams everyone really wants to turn over. They need quite a few shrewd but quality signings to be in competition next year imo and despite his great work this season Rodgers' overall transfer spending has left a lot to be desired, not to mention that despite the extra CL revenue they have probably overspent the last two seasons too.

Enjoy

A draw would not have been enough mate. They finished two points behind City.

They bottled it in both the Chelsea and Palace games. They needed a draw against Chelsea and a win against Palace.

I realise that - I wasn't saying it in the way that you could look at any of their defeats and say "all they needed was to beat Southampton at home and they'd have won it".

Their mentality against Palace was clearly affected by the Chelsea result. They were cruising at 3-0 and running to get the ball from the back of the net because they wanted to put pressure on City's GD. Their defence is awful and their game management (especially on Monday) left a hell of a lot to be desired, but if they knew that a win against Palace was enough they would have won the game imo.

Thank God this season has ended and equally Thank god that Liverpool didn't finish it as Champions. The hype on the run in was suffocating from the media, the same media were unashamedly biased towards one club in the run in.
Tonight I genuinely believe without massive investment in their squad Liverpool are as far away from winning a title as they have been any time in the last 24 years. More and more over the last few weeks it is obvious to me that Suarez is very much me first everything else afterwards. I don't think Gerrard lived up to his captain fantastic tag in the last three games, big man when things are going well. Just glad this season is over , couldn't bear anymore about them.
P.S. Kevin Nolan taken off today..same Kevin Nolan that was mouthing about winning title at Etihad for Liverpool...tool :D :D

Absolutely. The bias showing from supposedly impartial commentators in the media was shocking, and we're not (just) talking ex-players. The BBC correspondent who did the live text for our game at Everton said how he wanted them to qualify ahead of us, and how many 'experts' expressed their wish to see Gerrard lift the trophy?

What the fuck is going on in Spain? Top three teams nearly always all win and last few games they are dropping points for fun. Today with 15 minutes left Real are losing at Celta Vigo, Barcelona are tying at Elche and Atletico have just equalised at home to Malaga. Madrid are out of it now, as it stands it will go to the last day with Barca needing to beat Atletico at home. Don't any of them actually want to win the thing?

Haven't seen any of today's PL action as the real trophy that matters was already won after City beat Everton

It feels like a trophy Liverpool not winning a trophy though !

It'll now be a minimum of a quarter of a century since those murdering wankers have won the league.......25 years bad luck. Hopefully God is still paying debts !

That fucking fuck for that. Well done City and fucking ha ha ha ha ha ha ha bin dippers. The fact that the murdering scum thought they had it in the bag until a fortnight ago makes it all the more amusing as does stevie mee's mistake when he was acting the big man a month ago. They hve fuced their best chance for 24 years and hopefully won't come anywhere near winning it for another 24 year and more. Fucking misery-dwelling, murdering, media-luvvie, bin-dipping *word censored*. Ha fucking ha.
