Much of Englands build up play has been good but these super strikers from the PL just don't seem to be so good in tournament football :rubchin:

Well done Wales, England still have work to do, still not convincing for me, think they would seriously struggle against one of the big teams :rubchin:

Bullet dodged

You might be right.

I'm starting to think Andy Carrol might be our best bet.

One shot on target in the whole game

Thankfully I think I slipped into coma for most of that second half. Tell the pilot to start the engines it's almost home time

Rooney came on and managed to be even more shit than Wilshere.

The spurs players were all shit, what a surprise.

Hodgson picking donkey Henderson is another baffling decision.

Wilshere looks unfit and didn't do himself any favours with that performance.

Vardy ineffective against a team that parks the bus.

All in all, shite.

Not enjoyed football as much as this for a long time.

Where has that Aaron Ramsey been for the last two years? And Joe Allen was absolutely immense as he is every time he puts on a Wales shirt.

I think england have been more consistent than in previous tournaments. Slovaks threw themselves at everything, saw a stat 29 attempts on goal including 13 blocked attempts on target. Henderson can't cross and after vardy broke through and missed they just sat back. Don't understand the 6 changes, need the consistency to build momentum. Sturridge must start through the middle. Gonna get shot down but despite his poor form Walcott would make a difference coming off the bench in a tight match, mainly because he's used to it. Jack looked knackered after 50 minutes.
I'd rather face any of the four teams in group f then either Croatia or Czech republic.
Wales will do well to play that well again, it was brilliant to watch and they rightly won. Ramsey is doing his best to get a transfer to Barcelona or Real Madrid.
Hamsik is a quality player and the fact he spent more time in his own half is testament to how well England played. He wouldn't be out of place in our squad.

Two shots, Vardy and Ali. We where still shit.

This has a very familiar ring about it, Get into a group we should win, play shit for 2 games then end up second looking at the toughest route to the final.

Where have I seen that before .........

Wales are a good side, they have 2 world class players (one of which never performs consistently for us). The rest of the team up their game to make Wales a very hard side to beat. I don't think any of the major European sides would relish the thought of facing Wales.
