That means in roughly 150 days from now, we'll have signed no one.

Also based on DailyFail we can get Ronaldinho for free...
are you watching, Arsene.... FREE!

Unfortunatly that's only one of four boxes that need to be ticked, the other three being;
French
17 years old
A little bit shit.

Re: The Summer 2014 TRANSFER THREAD
I hope we do sign Yepes on a one year deal, rather he plays if needed than forcing a half-fit player to play.
We are scarily short of experience at centre back.
As much as I have hopes for Chambers and Hayden (though I see him more as a midfielder in the Gilberto mould) they are both teenagers.

I agree with this. He wouldn't expect to play that much (if at all). We need another body. There are freebies out there who can come in for one year who aren't going to expect to really play much.QuartzGooner wrote:I hope we do sign Yepes on a one year deal, rather he plays if needed than forcing a half-fit player to play.

If he was interested in them then why did he not do anything? I think that's just paper talk to be honest. There's nothing else to print in the gossip column now that the window has closed is there.
Re: The Summer 2014 TRANSFER THREAD
We're so desperate we may sign a 38 yo, rather than sign someone earlier when it was painfully obvious we had hardly any defenders after selling three and loaning one!! Who the fuck pulls Wonga up on these things?? Oh yeah.........no-one....

Thank fuck he's not a military commander. "Well we had three SAM sites to counter the bombers, but I sold two of them and loaned one to the navy. I will try to buy a pistol now from that shop that hardly ever has pistols available."

And indeed just as Hitler did, he is putting his faith in teenagers for his defence while telling us all we can still win the warDB10GOONER wrote:Thank fuck he's not a military commander. I'm still waiting my share of that $2,500,000 (former) General Mfobe Mstafembe promised me.
