I watched that at home the other night, quite a good film even though it's a lot shorter than the title suggests

Social network very good. Very sharp great editing, and quite and honest film, poor ending though in my opinion. I think all the hype about it is way over the top though. Its has a very john crisham feel to it (kinda the firm, the client, rainmaker esque).
Meet the little Fockers is ok, think they should leave it there as far as the series goes, it is the worst of the three and think its a bit of a cash in. Dissapointing.
The Green Hornet (i saw it in 3d). A real surprise to be honest. I was forced along to watch it and was expecting it to be total shite, but i really enjoyed it. The action and plot are poor but i found the kato/hornet relationship very funny. The 3d was pointless though. And clearly done in post production. If its not filmed in 3d there is no point.

3D is a gimmick, with any luck it will have fizzled out in a couple of years. Novelty, waste of money and frankly rubbish.

To be honest I thought the 3d in Avatar was very good. Alice in wonderland was ok. Everything else apart from that has been poor. It because most of these films werent filmed in 3d and they add the effect afterwards.
Its a very new thing, and most of the technology used was only created during the making of Avatar.
The hype over it is a bit ott, but i think it will only get better. Think its FAR too early for 3d TV's though.

the company i work is sposored by phillips and they sent us a load of free 3d kit, this was 3 years ago and they sent us a protoype / early model of a 60 inch 3d tv you don't need glasses to see the 3d at all and it was pretty good i must say, i dont think that tech is at consumer prices yet, they sent it to us so we could playback stuff we were filming with thier 3d cameras - i think there is more to come from 3d

Seen a good few this week,
I actually enjoyed neds.
The Fighter is a brilliant film, Bale is class and the mother and sisters are hillarious. The boxing is also very authentic. Pitty it didnt go into the gatti trilogy though.
Kick Ass i saw for the first time this week too and thought it was another really good film, the little girl is classic.
The Infidel, was dissapointed with. Not that funny.

"The Fighter" is good.
True story of Micky Ward and his family, boxer from America.
Examines his personal and business relationships.
Northbrankbren is spot on, Christian Bale is very good in it.

mate, just bought a 3D monitor for the pc and the nVidia 3D glasses.
playing games in 3D is absolutely fantastic
(a few movies like avatar and cartoons look fine too)
