The hatred and bile against the "Brexiteers" continues. Today in the E.U. Parliament,the M.E.P. Guy Vehofstadt called us "Rats." He failed however,to to take the analogy to it's logical conclusion,ie: that we are leaving a sinking ship!
I am still of the opinion that the "Brexit" will not happen despite the democratic vote. The Establishment are already stalling on enacting clause 50,and are fuelling the media and the chattering class to talk up the call for a re-run of the Referendum while branding the "Leave" voters as illiterate,uneducated scum.
I am now convinced that despite the "Peoples" choice,"Brexit" will be swerved and we will not leave the E.U.

Tend to agree Rugby the monied establishment are circling the wagons. Teresa May is becoming a shoe in for the Prime minister and she won't trigger article 50 . She is an appalling politician that has a rotten track record in every post she has held Rumours are that she allowed cover ups on misdoings to little kids and has made strange comments on Sharia Law . Just too many skeletons.
So far the remainers have held protest rallies against the democratic result and they have been heavily reported . Should the leave supporters take to the streets I bet you now they will be described as riots.

If we don't leave the EU. I hope the government are going to reimburse everyone of those 17m who voted out. How much money has it costed the British tax payer in staging this referendum.

Totally agree, the government has to act on the instructions of the people. What intrigues me is today, how many of the 17.8m brexiteers are thinking shit I shouldn't have voted leave. And the same question a year down the line, when the impact is becoming clearer either way. It would only take a 900,000 swing to make it 50/50.

Brexit supporters may well have to take to the streets especially if the remains get to overturn the decision. I doubt that there is enough support for leaving in parliament and all attempts are being made to prevaricate and delay until they can water it down. You are right the country is split but I still believe that leaving in the long run will be the best route to take .After all out of the 170 or so countries we could trade with only 27 are in the EU.
