SUMMER TRANSFERS - Your thoughts on who did and did not sign

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I repeat hes also the laziest fucker in the team. As for the finishing I havent seen anything he has done that is better than giroud, who isnt supposed to be as gifted. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
Giroud would never have scored Pods first strike at Fulham or his second against Wigan last season. Yesterdays goal from Giroud was his only good finish to date and I doubt he could do it again if he had 100 attempts. Also fucked up 2 easy goal chance passes yesterday.
Giroud has scored more goals in relation to time spent on the pitch than pod. You cant compare the two, Giroud is much better in the air. Pod could only possibly be compared with RVP who is a better finisher and generally better all round. Have you ever been to the emirates, if you have been you will see how lazy pod is playing on the left, perhaps its because it isnt his preferred position but as was the case with arshavin, his lack of willingness to close down leaves us exposed. Giroud missed two easy passes to theo, but ive never seen great distribution from pod and the bench is where he belongs.

Alright, no one tell me how long to go - I'm off for a kip and when I wake I expect these answers:-

1 Ozil confirmed
2 Keeper of quality confirmed
3 Striker - at least decent quality confirmed
4 Bonus AKB points for a quality defender and a DM
5 Bendtner to Palace confirmed (although I do pity the poor buggers) actually a swap for Jedinak would suffice.

Ghilda Pensante on SSN stated about 30mins ago that AFC have already signed an Italian keeper (can't remember his name) on loan for a 1m Euro

That's because he is played as an out and out striker, but if you honestly believe a player who has missed 20 time more chances than he has scored is a better finisher than Podolski then fine, but you are talking through your arse.
And yes I have been to the dome, but not since the 3-1 reversal in the league to utd, when I vowed not to return until Wenger is gone, how I would actually have to be there to see that pod is "lazy" is beyond me, maybe Giroud has scored some spectacular goals which I would have had to be there to see, if so then I apologise.

See this is the problem Rodders, you've now gone and completely ruined my evening's entertainment. How can I sit there this evening, drooling over her breasts when I'll now have the image of you, trousers round your ankles, knocking one out... :banghead:

I do apologise. let's hope they are on full show tonight :barscarf:
