I still refuse to believe it was our very own frank butcher. Firstly, I heard the interview and the guy sounded much too articulate to be our boy frankie; secondly, there wasn't any swearing :shock:; and thirdly, I never once heard him shout out 'Paaatttttt'

Seriously though, well done fella. 8)

You see SWL, that's how it's done!!

Same old same old............get behind the team......you're not going to get Wenger the sack so all you're doing is bringing more negativity to the club.

Get right behind the team like I did at OT, WHL and Blackburn and difference did it make? Jacksh1t because the players on the pitch are not good enough / disorganised and no longer playing for the manager.

No ppl in the fans pictures adorning the stadium are superfans the rest of us a supporters who go when we can.

I was pointing out that the players and manager couldn't careless if we supported them or not they get paid the same either way.

I don't get why I keep reading this same statement "get behind the team", every1 involved still get behind the team week in week out, just voicing an opinion.

The fact pretty much all games going on general sale and failing to sell out surely shows that even some 'pro Wenger' fans are thinking twice and in your own words not getting behind the team.

If Wenger had any class or decency he'd have walked immediately after the OT disgrace. Hes brought shame and ridicule to a club that was truly on the brink of domination.

The negativity you speak of is all of Wengers making.
There is a massive cloud hanging over this club and its very difficult to be positive about the future - that is while Wengers in charge. But, bring in a new manager and there will be a new freshness about the place, a direction and a positivity. The fans will then have no excuse but to support the team without Wenger tearing the support apart and putting gooner against gooner.

As far as Im concerned Wenger was finished a long time ago. His time has come and gone and the more "negative" publicity Wenger and the sorry board get can only hasten his departure.

In the words of a famous gooner* - "Arsene, Thanks for the memories, but its time to say goodbye"

*Quote attributed to SWL - Arsenal history maker 8)

"Get behind the team" . When are the team going to get behind the Club and start performing to justify their huge salaries? When are the team going to give the fans something to be proud of? When are the team going to put in performances with some back bone, unlike the disgrace at Old Trafford, the shambles at Blackburn, the collapse in the Carling Cup Final? I suppose it makes you a better supporter for showing blind faith whilst the Club becomes a laughing stock.

Excellent first post. We all feel your passion and disappointment with the way things are at the moment.

No-one hacked my twitter account. Basically, we set up the interview at about 2pm, after TalkSport got in touch with the ArsenalFcNotPlc twitter account. It was announced on TalkSport that they were going to interview us, then some random guy called up the station claiming to be ArsenalFCNotPlc and said we wanted to cancel. According to the Producer he claimed that we'd had death threats and wanted to back out. I was in meetings all afternoon so the first I knew about this was a call from Mikey asking if I'd cancelled. Of course I hadn't so we went ahead with the interview. Just some pratt trying to sabotage things and clearly he failed. The mug!

Problem you have is that until the fans start vocally calling for wengers head nothing will happen. you need a black scarf type march with 200 fans chanting wenger out and a lot more other activities in parallel to start getting somewhere.

At the start of the season I thought the spurs match was key because we were definitely going to lose but that has come and gone and nobody seems bothered and some daft twats are still defending arsene in the comments of kevins editorials as well. I'm wondering at what point will there be a turning point when things go too far. Lose to spurs, no reaction, get destroyed by united nothing happens and still people defend wenger.
