Sky Sports Germany reported yesterday we have agreed to pay £34million for Granit Xhaka.

Elsewhere, Madrid based newspaper AS report Barcelona are willing to offer Arda Turan, Munir and Sandro in a part exchange for Mesut Ozil.

Romelu Lukaku available in the summer after saying he wants CL football. He has been quality over the last few seasons for Everton.

We should start making enquiries.

Now now, you know Arsole doesn't go in for a player unless it is announced he is 'for sale'!! :banghead:

Lukaku is a no brainer, we should be straight in for him, then get Ibrahimovic and our front line could be a handfull...............alternatively, we can rely on our world class players like Giroud and Wally 'Walkaround' Walcott to score 50+ goals next season and not sign any strikers!!

Looks like we'll be getting more midfielders anyway, Wonga must be the only manager who looks at just one area of his team, it's not like our shit defence or even shittier attack doesn't need improving is it!!?? :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Let's consider this one for a minute.............here we have a very good centre forward (not convinced that he is top quality yet) who is just weeks away from the most important match since he came to England (fa cup semi), and he goes on tv spouting about his wish to leave the club in 3 months time - personally I find that disgraceful and any player who does that once will be capable of doing it again, and imo we have been stung too often by mercenary players already. I have no doubt that he has been tapped up, but why not wait another month or two to go public ? He is being totally disrespectful to his current club imo

I'm not utterly convinced by Lukaku at the top level. Might be great but also could be far too inconsistent and often easy to mark out of games as a lone striker.

Would have him in an instant alongside a better striker if we were willing to play 2 up top at times.

Would be pricey mind - Everton paid 28m, presumably have him tied down for a few years and can legitimately claim that his value has grown if anything since being endlessly farmed out on loan by Chelsea.

I think it's fucking barmy that our number nine is even expected to do that job anyway (Despite how average OG is). Oh, for an Ian Wright up top :high5:

So by that token you would say no thank you to Suarez given the way he behaved at Pool a few years back? Had we made a proper bid for Suarez, he would by now be on his way to Sunny spain. If Lukaku want to use us in the same way but we actually get a striker who scores more goals than our front line combined, that's fine with me. We make a few bob and could actually have a tilt at the title. Ohh wait that was supposed to happen this year.

Rumours of star players unrest (Ozil), they deny it, ask for reinforcements, then it doesn't happen and are sold.

I'm sure we've been here before...

oh don't worry, i'm sure once he and sanchez leave to pursue a career of winning big trophies and competing past the last 16 of the CL they will have only good things to say about wenger.

as for lukaku, we missed the boat with him, he would cost and arm and a leg and you will find plenty of better strikers for less money. he faced mert twice this season and didn't come close to scoring once ffs. :?

much more interested in someone like ighalo who would be much more gettable and a relative snip.

Say this every year, don't do it to yourselves. Enjoy your summer, go somewhere nice, don't sweat it thinking about the colossal fuck up which will be the 2016 Summer Transfer Window.

PS. Lukaku is shite. Not Theo Walcott shite, but football IQ shite. The man has no skill, guile, or any meaningful technical ability which are crucial for the elite level. Lukaku is the sort of striker we should have signed instead of Giroud to back up a world class striker.
