Other Matches Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I cant think of a single Arsenal player that would make either of these two teams starting 11. Maybe Tierny & Partey. Laca wouldn't even make either bench. That's the quality we have at present. OK they're young & hopefully will gel in the future - if we can keep them !. :barscarf: :barscarf:

Good to see VAR managing to keep 11 Liverpool players on the pitch. Is it me or did city batter Liverpool and should've easily won that game but for VAR?

That's good got sick of selling our best players to City only to see them win the league. About time we kept them.

A certain Portuguese footballer slapping a child's hand and breaking his phone and trying to bury the story by offering them something like a shirt or lunch or whatever? Fucking hell, next they'll be telling me that he's raped a woman and tried to pay her off? Fucking hell. That man and that fucking club. They can't go more than about a week without sexually assaulting or physically attacking people.

Real Madrid v Chavs sums up the chums league. Two morally and economically bankrupt teams, billions in debt and funded by corruption on so many horrendous levels and indulged sycophantically by the media. One lot who should have been liquidated years ago but got bailed out by their own government and local council and the other lot, fuck me, how have they even been allowed to play for the last 19 years? Jesus fucking Christ, the fucking lack of morals in European football get worse every year. It comes to something when PSG and City aren't the worst when you've got those two above, plus Barcelona and AC Milan and acting like a cross between a banking conspiracy, mafia operation and fucking cocaine and heroin cartel every single day.

Emery doing over Bayern.

And he was undermined by certain players at Arsenal because he had a funny accent 😐

El Maestro strikes again

Remind me the last time we competed with Bayern over two games.

Anyway- thankfully we've improved no end since we punted him

Won the same amount of European finals as "Errrrrrrrrr, Eeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyy diiiiiidddd nuuuuuutttttt, eeeerrrrrrr zeeeeeee ittttttttt."
But of course, he gave out long and valuable contracts to shit players, so they loved him. Emery lost his job because Aubameyang missed a penalty against the scum and tried to be a clever fucking cûnt against Brighton and missed an easy chance by miles. Yeah, there was shit in there by the end but the players downed tools.

I’ve laminated the sheets in the spare bedroom, do your worst 8)

Complete rope a dope performance by Villarreal, none of the ball, one shot on target all game and then right at the death boom game fucking over. Absolute master class.

Bayern paying the price for playing in a league that sees them winning 9 nil every week so when the going gets tough in Europe it’s completely alien to them and they haven’t a clue what to do.

Fingers crossed Unai does the victims in the semi but it looks like a fucking soft run to the final for crooked teeth - Benfica in the QF and Villarreal in the semi.

Jammy fucking bastards :suicide:

Our last game in the CL we completed a 10-2 aggregate defeat under Wenger. Emery just knocked Bayern out

Remember back in about 2010 or whenever it was, everybody was sucking Wanker off because Bayern were in the Europa League and we were doing the usual of going out in the second round of the chumps league? Apparently , it was proof he was a genius because Bayern had moved ground and hadn't finished in the fourth placed trophy position in their league. I remember the Wankffen SS telling us that we're on the road to winning everything and he's got a plan. Few years later, they've thrashed us about 25-2 over two different ties, won the European Cup and then been knocked out by the man who we sacked for achieving more than he did with the utter shit he left behind.

And I'd love to know how much that Wenger team cost, because as we all know "The Great Economist" barely had two ha'pennys to rub together

Compare that to Unai's massive budget at Villareal with the likes of Foyth, Lo Celso etc
