I've said it before but worth repeating.

The biggest problem with these cowardly fucktards is that as soon as you get close to them they put down their weapon, blend in to the crowd and claim to be a lowly farmer! As soon as your back is turned they're off to get their gun again and re-join the fight.

And that is the biggest hypocrisy of these if they really believed in this religious ideal they would stand and fight for it. To me it proves that this has fuck all to do with religion and is about power and control.

Until they put on a uniform and stand as the army that they clam to be you simply cannot beat them.

I guess one place to start would be to ban all flights and ground border crossings into those countries. At least their recruitment would be fucked then!

On a general and tad simplified level Iraq was a mess because of the Shia / Sunni divide.

Afghanistan initially was hugely successful. The SF teams that went in wiped out an estimated 60,000 - 80,000 AQ and Taliban fighters by calling airstrikes in on them. In the space of about 5 weeks. The problems in Afghanistan developed when the US tried to instill a hearts and minds program and force western style democracy on a culture that is organised (and historically divided) along tribal lines rather than political persuasion.

If the US and her allies went back to the basic strategy of inserting small SF teams and allowing them to call in surgical and, in some cases, non-surgical strikes they would wipe IS out in a couple of months.

So what you're saying, to use modern military parlance is; we were 2-1 up after 20 minutes but ended uo losing 5-2.

Four Squadrons of Tornados, plus naval Type 45 destroyer weaponry and submarine based cruise missiles.

But yes there have been a lot of cuts to the military.

In fairness, they don't come cheap (Arsenal pay about £8m a year for theirs )

ref played an advantage today , Song fucked said advantage up by chipping ball into 'keeper's hand. Robbie said that ref should have known that Song is a defensive midfielder ( trade description act take note) and ref was wrong to allow advantage in that case. So in Robbie's words refs not alone have to decide if advantage is on , but also decide if the player who the advantage falls to is good enough to take it.

Think Savage does have a point on one thing TBF , giving an advantage to Mong is like showing your dick to Germaine Greer and hoping for something positive to come of it
