Whether you hate Liverpool or not you have to accept they are the best team on the planet right now.

Just sickening that Wenger outstayed his welcome otherwise Klopp could well be managing Arsenal these days.

Yes but at the time would the owners have supported him in the transfer market, I doubt it, they've only spent big recently because we were falling behind so far

If we manage to lose to this shower of shit and finish below them.....

Well, I know what should happen next
Not a fucking chance we’re beating them, who’s gonna score? Eddie? Laca?? :coffeespit:
Hoping that one of Cedric's looped crosses to nowhere takes Maguire's attention and his big useless slabhead gives us an own goal!!

That united defence is an absolute shambles, hammer head and Phil Jones holy shit abysmal. Absolute scenes when they keep a clean sheet Saturday evening mind.

Almost as shit as the Southampton defence that shipped 6 the week before.....

And so it goes on

Want to appear like you've sorted your defence? Just wait for the non scoring El Beige 1930's snails to come to town

The greatest cod of the modern game was convincing people that finishing 4th was something to celebrate.

Look at the fucking state of the three shit teams currently battling it out for this supposed massive accolade, the scum who are in pole position have already lost ELEVEN times this season including last weekend, that absolute pathetic joke of a united team and of course our good selves - a team without a striker - who are in complete free fall with 3 (and soon to be 4) defeats on the bounce.

And yet whichever one of those cluster fuck teams that ends up finishing 4th will be deemed by the great and the good to have “achieved” something this season!

Give me a fucking break

Can see Wolves catching Manure even with the guaranteed 3 points they’ll get against us on Saturday. So maybe they’ll catch up with our precious flowers as well! What a joke these last 3 games have proved for us! Shameful.

Exactly. I don't think Stupid Teeth would have chosen Arsenal to start with and, if he did, he would not have gotten the financial backing he needed.

That first victims* PL title cost them nearly £200 million in real money - offset by sales from an actual spend of over £500 million. At that time he'd never have gotten that at Arsenal. In the rush to have a love in with Football Bono and the dirty victims* in general, people (especially "soccer" fans) like to overlook what he spent.

And then there's all the finals he bottled initially. How long before we'd have had planes flying over the stadium with banners saying "Trampy Shipman Out"? After the second one? The third one?

Just wanted to state that this rivalry between Liverpool and Man City is nothing compared to the one between Arsenal and Manure which had a long history behind it reaching an pinnacle for the ten seasons we occupied the top 2 places. Those two teams hated each other, a proper contest between world class players. Nothing will ever beat that rivalry no matter how the media build up the current contest between Man city and Liverpool. Can't ever imagine Wenger hugging Fergie in the heat of title race. It's all too nice.

Agreed - a rivalry that Sky are trying to hype up but in reality the managers get on, most of the players don't have any bad blood and to the best of my knowledge I can't remember many red cards or 21 player brawls!

What I would say is that the level of football those two teams are producing is at another level. When you see them shooting over 90 points consistently and heading towards 100, that is truly remarkable consistency

Shooting over 90 points ?

Is that a basketball 🏀 analogy ?

Far and away the best 2 footballing teams in the league - on our day we can be 3rd but we can also be so mind numbingly boring.
