Official World Cup Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

great defending from Ars...sorry France

You can't be surprised theyre conceding goals with so many Arsenal players in the defending penalty area.

Thought that myself.....3 out of Arsenal's porous back 4 is not a good sign for france

Again I have to say that prior to his sending off gourcuff was looking good - his pass through gignac (useless useless *word censored* ) was very Arsenal like 8) His sending off was an absolute disgrace - yet again we see poor decisions costing teams and for world cup finals it really isnt good enough

Btw can any of the diaby lovers tell me where the fcuker is ? A full 45 minutes have passed and his usual anonymous contribution again  Hope we sell the useless fcuker asap

Am sure the thought crossed all our minds but that is sad in itself

On another note, Domenech best not get into the back seat of a car going towards the Pont de l'Alma road tunnel in Paris or he might end up like a certain Princess.

What, too soon?

The other game is actually quite interesting...

It kind of says a lot for Argentina that both these teams are so desperate to avoid them in the next round they have been going for it since the start, risking missing qualification completely rather than playing out a tame draw just to make sure they both qualify..
