Flamini, Rosicky and Arteta are all leaving, so the arrival of Xhaka alongside Elneny, Coquelin and Ramsey is a step in the right direction. Rosicky and Arteta haven't been near the pitch anyway, whilst Flamini has my respect for winning the cup match at the Lane, but shouldn't be making the 18 anymore. I don't even count Wilshere as an option, but I suppose him too.

I'd start dismantling the failed BritishCore experiment, Iwobi can be a direct replacement for Oxlade-Chamberlain. I'd listen to offers for Walcott as well, not going to improve anymore here. Debuchy will go, so a new right back is needed plus the all important centre back.

But who is there in world football better than Walcott, Debuchy and Mertesacker ?

Arteta and Rosicky haven't been near the pitch, yet both were obviously considered crucial components in our title challenge as they got new contracts - keeping them meant we failed to strengthen, what makes you so sure this summer will be any different ?

Because they got new contracts before Wenger lucked out with Coquelin turning out to be pretty good.

Add that to Elneny coming onboard, alongside Granit Xhaka from Germany means we're going to be shipping at least 2 centre mids out and no reason why it shouldn't be all 3 of them.

It's a natural cull of the "oldies", Mertesacker and Cazorla's contracts expire June 2017 and will probably walk then too.

Where I think Wenger is going to get it wrong is not shipping out Walcott, as you'd imagine other clubs in the Prem would take him on for a reasonable fee.

Who the fuck is this bloke Granit Watsisface? He sounds like some sort of muscular disorder which will be somewhat appropriate if he decides to join us

To be honest "pretty good" is actually bloody generous for Coquelin if you are holding him to title-challenging standards.

Whilst it was initially refreshing that he isn't Flamini or Arteta, the guy should be second-choice / option to play two DMs.

We'd be 3 points behind everyone's second favourite team rather than six if it hadn't been for his pathetic petulance and stupidity at the Shitole. He needs to do a lot to make up for that.....and saying sorry isn't even the start

According to the Mirror, Southampton captain Jose Fonte is trying to persuade Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to rejoin Southampton in the summer.

I read with much hilarity this morning from some know-all Twatter bloke that he knows for certain that Wanker will sell and buy big this summer. Ha fucking ha ha. This summer, last summer, next summer, this January, next blah blah blah. There is not one single player on this planet that would sign for Arsenal and not be made worse by playing for *word censored*. Besides, his only chance to sign decent players was last year. Now, given the choice of Pep at City, possibly Maureen at Manure and a new-start Chavsea, any player would choose them over us. Even if there was only small interest, I would be telling my agent to get me them well before joining Arsenal. He can target any fucking player, but we'll end up buying some shit midfielder from the third or fourth choice list. The man is a prick, has fucked up the club so much and needs to just fuck off in a month's time.

We could buy the best goal keeper, the best two centre backs the best midfielder the best wingers and the best striker in the world BUT it won't make a difference as the manager will remain the same. I'd buy Premier League players for next season Fraser Forster, van Dijk, Ashley Williams, Lukaku, pick up Jordan Ayew from Villa.

The academy doesn' t seen to be producing great CB so we'll have to buy them in. Midfield and Attacking midfielders we seem to have a plethora of the so. I'm not necessarily keen on the idea but Mourinho would win the title with this group of players.

I'd suggest this is our last season finishing in the top 4 for a while so enjoy it while we can, as from next season we'll be fighting for 6th with stoke, west ham and everton...
