Wenger Out protest thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

As my home made NO NEW CONTRACT banner sneaked itself into so many pictures, I'm going to try to make another one.

This one is simply gonna say

Official statement just posted on Arsenal.com:

Arsenal chairman Sir Chips Keswick says:
“We are fully aware of the attention currently focused on the club and understand the debate. We respect that fans are entitled to their different individual opinions but we will always run this great football club with its best long-term interests at heart.

"Arsène has a contract until the end of the season. Any decisions will be made by us mutually and communicated at the right time in the right way.”

Come on guys, this is a song which has to be sung:

"He's had his chips, he's had his chips
Arsene Wenger, he's had his chips
How did he have them, we don't know
When did he have them, we don't care
All we know is Wenger's had his chips"

Reports of his demise are rather premature I think .
Chips has ZERO say in anything and is nothing more than a proxy for Hillwood and a Puppet for Kroenke ,he has been given his lines by one of those.
My own guess is that it was Gazidis who is trying to put pressure on Wenger to sign on or Bow out and preferably the latter .
I can assure you Wenger will NOT walk away so unless the negativity of the fans translates into loss of revenue then Gazidis will have trouble getting silent Stan to agree he should go .

Yeah, sadly I think you're right about the way the hierarchy works at the club these days.

We used to take the piss out of the Hill Woods (Old Etonians and all that) but when they were our Chairmen they didn't duck their responsibility or get Ken Friar (roughly the Gazidis equivalent in those days) to do their dirty work for them. They were honourable types and while they were never trigger happy they certainly didn't hesitate to step up to the mark when the time was ripe to sit the manager down with a stiff whisky and a loaded revolver.

Could some smart Gooner with graphic design skills change the clock hands on this picture / banner to ten minutes to two & post the edited link? :barscarf:

I'd say keep the songs simple like Tuesday and mix it up with some of the old songs. We were so loud on Tuesday because the message was short sharp and easily understood. Let's take a leaf out of Le failure's book and use the same tactics regardless of opposition.

I'm assuming the megaphone is sorted. Very important.
