EFE agency: N’zonzi’s father/agent has handed in a ‘written transfer request’ today as the player seeks a way out. #AFC have an offer on the table that if materialise could lead to a reunion with Unai Emery.
EFE: Sevilla sources have told us that a ‘transfer request’ won’t have an effect & that any interested club will have to pay the €40m clause

Balague has revealed that the Gunners were negotiating a deal for Mbappe but backed out when the player’s representatives demanded £7m to get the teenager’s move over the line.

“At 17 there were a lot of teams interested in him - one of those was Arsenal,” Balague said on his YouTube channel.

“But his family and the agents asked for £7m.

“For a 17-year-old, Arsenal decided not to continue the conversation because there’s always a risk.”

Sounds about right, I know it is forbidden by some to absolve Wenger of any sort of blame but this stinks more like the regime being their usual penny pinching conservative c*nts who are more interested in making money out of the club than actual success.

Bloody hell, Salah signs new Liverpool contract for £200k a week. Kane did a similar thing recently at Spurs.

How much are we paying Ozil again? :cussing:

Last season (17/18) this guy was linked with Bayern and a lot of europe's bigger clubs, but to date it seems that no-one is pushing hard to sign him :o

That announcement video is class. So is Sokratis. Very good signing, not world class obviously but very good.

Only thing that worries me about Sokratis is his discipline record, i think he had 9-10 yellows and 3 reds last season, we don't need another Xhaka

Serious looking fucker though :rubchin:

Oh and for the record it seems that the youngster from PSG has resigned with them

Torreira’s father: “It’s not official yet as nothing is signed but as soon as the world cup comes to an end, Lucas will fly to London to undergo his medical examinations.”

I don't mind players who get sent off for making hard challenges but occasionally get them wrong. Xhaka is just a fuckwit who makes so many stupid, unnecessary fouls.

I suspect Torriera will get the odd red, but I think we'll benefit a lot from having some 'don't fuck with me' players with a winning mentality.

Unfortunately Joe a couple mates who are Dortmund fans say that's exactly what Sokratis does at times, he is prone to brain farts allegedly, however as long as he isn't Mustafi i can live with it

Always wondered how things would play out for Serge and it will be interesting to see how his career develops. Odds are at the very least that we gave him away cheaply.

really pleased to see the arrival of sokratis - looking like we won't have to rely so much on koscileny next season which is a huge plus.
