If Liverpool had managed to stretch a serious lead out beyond two wins, I would fancy their chances of riding home on a wave of euphoria. They nearly managed it in 2014.

Now, after already mentally being seven points clear they are suddenly fighting to stop the rot. Next month is massive as they go to United and Everton either side of playing Bayern.

Come on City!

The reaction to the City bench at full time last night was telling..This was no routine win for Pep.and his coaching staff. They looked like a group of people that knew they have got an unexpected second or even third chance and this hopefully they take.

I said it from day one and stick by it: Stupid Teeth is not an elite coach, he's not a "tactical genius" like the dimmer modern sawker fan would have you believe - he's the ultimate bottler. Top managers do not lose 6 out of 7 finals.

A wave of euphoria and fake "personality" bullshit can only carry you so far in football. One thing it doesn't do is win you major trophies.

If there is divine retribution or karma or whatever the fuck then I like to think the Mousers will never win a league title again as recompense for murdering 39 innocent Italians and for mugging their own fans and crushing their own fans to death without ever accepting even a modicum of responsibility for anything ever. :censored:

Fuck them. The only team I could accept seeing them win the league ahead of is the Middlessex Vagrants. :censored:

Another offside goal from Liverpool to get them going today.

Chances are they would have walloped Bournemouth (who are awful) anyway but it’s so far beyond a joke now.

Absolutely. Absofuckinglutely. They will forever walk with the stain of murder. No matter how much they try to hide it, they are nothing but murdering scum. They won't win the league and I hope to read all about it in The Sun. The paper of Truth.

Mane was offside but hey it's Liverpool at Anfield, or more to the point it's Liverpool 18/19 vintage.
Yeah maybe they would have beaten Bournemouth but the first goal is the vital one in any game and when it is handed to you on a plate by officials it makes life easier.
They have had some unbelievable decisions this season and yet Klopp gets a free pass from the FA when he had the neck to question a referees integrity after West Ham on Monday.
Can you imagine the Victims and medias fury if City got a quarter if those decisions ?

I think I've made my views on the Chumpions Be All and End All perfectly clear and the only reason I have a slightly heightened interest in finishing 4th this year is to see whether Emery will be given a higher budget to work with and a better opportunity to sweep the dross out of the door - at that point we can really start to make some sensible judgements

I'm presuming that City will do the business against the Chavs today which means we will be sitting 1 point off a top four finish - in my view a remarkable achievement, way ahead of last year's position and give ourselves a chance

By the time we play the vermin we should be six points better off, during which time ManUre have to play the Mickeys , and the Chavs have to play the vermin

A BIG club who were GENUINELY challenging for the title would probably fill wembley for a Sunday lunch time kick off - pathetic micky mouse outfit.

Steve Sidwell (remember him? Me neither) said Son has every right to go down if there is a trailing leg and/or any form of contact.

The bloke is the worst cheat out there in the PL.

There is the slightest of touches by old slabhead but that cheating cu.nt Son drags his right leg and goes down in two stages as per. Could easily have stayed on his feet, easily, but chose to go down. Fucking Smudger, Redknapp and Souness(!) all saying it was a penalty but next week they'll be saying that the same challenge isn't a pen. Put Vardy on Puel you clueless twat.
