So. Any criticism of the royals is tantamount to racism
666. The sad, no-life serfs that queued up for days outside the hospital to "welcome" the royal birth. You fucking sad pathetic losers. Have some dignity and self respect you cúnts.
Each to their own and if British people want to wait outside a hospital for a royal birth then fine, but I was alarmed to see a young Irish man being interviewed by Kay Burley on Sky News. He actually traveled over from Ireland to be there for the birth. He was accompanied by a girl I presume was his daughter. I find that disturbing, not for any political reason, just disturbing.
Some years ago you wouldn't have been the only one disturbed, mate

Oh I agree they have the right to do it. I just don't know how they can look themselves in the mirror and not feel shame. For me it's nothing to do with the whole British / Irish thing but all about the concept of "royalty", in any nation. I really believe it is morally wrong that someone can be born into such a position of unearned and undeserved privilege and the tax payer / common man in the street has to pay for it. I also find the level of mindless servility demonstrated by so many people towards royalty just very embarrassing.

Much prefer royalty than some politico or other taking the stage instead . As genes/ family influence intellegence height and statue ( ) are all inherited to a greater or lesser extent I dont see whats honestly wrong with it- in anycase they all go out in the same wooden box and come in unclad, so why worry about it, especially when Arsene wont sign a proper CB to replace a German of ill repute.
The Royal Family - are a bunch of Sanctimonious Cuntts - there's ole charlie boy - had a gorgeous wife and fucked that monstrosity behind her back - claiming to be interested in Green Issues and helping to save the planet - yet he drives (amongst his many cars) the fuel guzzling Aston Martin DB5 and DB6 - the Aston Martin Vanquish - he has 3 other Bentley's all of which are heavy petrol users AND his company Duchie of Cornwall - who produce Organic Products and Foods - on land he inherited - where he employs workers on wages equivalent to the national minimum wage - and if they say anything they're sacked.
The queen she's a multi-multi- millionairess and yet she's always going on about the British People (Her subjects) many of whom are on the poverty line - and what does she do - Fuckall.
Every single one of them a Cunnt...and that kraut racist lump o useless shyte duke of edinburgh - who hasn't done a days work in his life - also a multi-millionaire - and when Princess Diana was 'killed' (always thought that was well dodgy!) it took the nations opnion for them to actually show any (false)remorse and respect.

The servile attitude of so many Brits to its ruling foreign thieves and butchers is nauseating. When else is nepotism not only acceptable, but compulsary for a job. (Mind you I would've liked to have seen Darren replace Alex).
I have got to tell you about this "Granada", sums up this place. Helped my Uncle move a few things into his new flat this morning, and afterwards we went to Wetherspoons for a couple of beers. While in there we were watching the "aftermath" of the election when my Uncle said,"Farage has resigned." At this point a woman sat at the next table informed us that Miliband and Clegg had also resigned. We then went back to watching the T.V. and they started to show Cameron on his way to Buckingham Palace. I turned to my Uncle and said,"Why,in the 21st century, does the leader of a democratically elected party have to go and seek permission from an unelected "Head of State" to govern the country?" At this point the woman hissed "Traitor" to me, and proceeded to move to another table, from which she glowered at me until we left! Welcome to the democratic system!!!

I wonder what she'd say if she was passed over for promotion because her boss's son was going to be given it,

However, hasn't it been fairly reliably calculated that they bring more revenue into the country than they cost to maintain?
So does the Harry Potter Exhibition, but I wouldn't expect, after 30,000,000 people cast their vote, for the duly elected leader of the country to have to bow to Daniel Ratcliffe and ask for permission to form a government.

It's just pomp and ceremony. Besides, Cameron didn't have to see the queen, you only do that when you're a new PM. He wanted to. You only 'ask permission' in the same sense that the 'queen's speech' is written by the queen. Personally, I'm much more annoyed by the fact that 80% of the laws of this country are not created by our 'duly elected' government yet this is a fact I've not actually seen mentioned once during the election campaign...

The Leader of the party that wins the General Election DOES have to ask the monarchs permission to form the new government. The election starts a NEW 5 year term of office so they have to ask whether they were PM in the previous parliarment or not.
I do agree that it is wrong that 80%+ of our laws are imposed on us by unelected bureaucrats, and I also think that it is wrong that the armed forces and the police swear allegiance to the monarch, and not the Government

Can't find the source but I definitely read that he only had to do so the first time he became PM.

In fairness more people would probably vote for the Harry Potter exhibition than any political party too
Seeing the queen is all part of tradition- its not as if she would say no, but its better than having a load of stooges to cheer you into Downing street, and I suppose it does give some humility to some leaders who may get too big headed. Oh wait...!
Actually most (Maybe all) PMs say in retrospect that the weekly meeting with the queen was a much valued part of their job.
I hate how the royal family are pretty much just a joke now. Don't do anything useful, and don't have any power anymore. So what's the point? Makes me sad to think of the likes of king Henry VIII who actually had a lot of responsibility to go with his title as king of England.

You feel sad about a king who killed some of his wives because he was shooting blanks and who abused the law so he could execute, without trial, anyone who dissented from his view?
I truly believe that if English people actually knew anything about the assorted murdering bastards who have made their lives a misery for centuries they wouldn't feel so positively towards the inbred fascists.
