THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We're currently top of the league because we have a great manager. He's made mistakes, but realistically, he provides us the best chance of winning trophies in the next two or three seasons. I honestly wouldn't swap him for any other manager in world football.
There we have it Ladies and Gentleman, a 'couple' of bad seasons and all is right in the world.

ONE ARSENE WENGER, THERE'S ONLY ONE ARSENE WENGER.

When Arsene is holding aloft the Premier League and FA Cup at the end of the season, even the doubters will join in the chorus of his name that will ring around the Grove for decades to come. :barscarf:

might change my name to Trollhunter (in honour of a great film by that name, as well as your happy new year post).
FA Cup winning goal scored by Sanogo then?

i love the fact that 'we're still in the Champions League' is being harked around now.

before we play the Reigning European Champions, with the same tactics and preparations we used to be held by managerless Cardiff at home yesterday...

Where's the trophies? Those stats are essentially worthless.

Not to the stats boys - they create their own trophies while the rest of us have to wait for the real silver ones.

"Mature, intelligent and resillient"

Anyone win? You'll get a (virtual) trophy :D

Imo this thread is pretty pointless at this stage of the season, if I'm for or against what difference does it make? He's hardly going to be sacked mid season and surely even the most die hard WOBs can see that you don't sack your manager when you're top of the league half way through a season? This thread is like 24hr rolling news

Judge him in may 8)

I agree this thread is pointless as Wenger has been judged in May several times.
