Didn't we only score 2 goals less than Chelsea last year?augie wrote:officepest wrote:I think that Özil at 10 and Wally up front would be fairly a potent combination. Giroud? Not so much.augie wrote:Brownie1991 wrote:I have no qualms about that article and the use of Ozil as the 10.
Of course he should be in the number 10 role and thousands of Gooners have been saying that since we signed him, but of course le cock disagreedOf course it doesnt really matter who plays the number 10 role if your main striker is either giroud, wellbeck or wally
Our local under 15 side has a strike force with more strength and presence than that strike force![]()
Tbh, and it pains me to say this, but I would rather have wellbeck as our lone striker than wally![]()

I don't think I'd trust Welbeck to warm the bench. Awful, awful player.augie wrote:officepest wrote:I think that Özil at 10 and Wally up front would be fairly a potent combination. Giroud? Not so much.augie wrote:Brownie1991 wrote:I have no qualms about that article and the use of Ozil as the 10.

I'm no fan of the guy either and both of them would be classed as average when it comes to clinical finishing, but I would have to rate wellbeck better than wally when it comes down to making the right runs and working for the team

I'd have Wally though, at least he delivers goals.
I don't know what Welbeck is supposed to do, other than help fill the requisite number of players on a field.
