Groundhog summer transfer window thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Assuming Bendtner leaves in Jan (or even if he doesnt) and we get a n other striker in. We will have
Bendtner (or maybe not)
Giroud
Wake me up Yaya Sanogo
A N Other

Id suggest that even with another quality striker wed still be short up top compared to the others fighting for the title...

Very harsh expecting le postman to be available yet........don't you realise how busy the French postal service is at this time of the year ?

Diego Costa would be a very good buy for Arsenal. He's 25 yrs old and if he could score 20+ goals a season then £34m would be good value.

Aguero injured, so Citeh have to rely on Dzeko and Negrado. Rooney and RvP out and Hernandez and Welbeck step in. Chavs have Ba, Eto and Torres. We've got the Fat Dane ready to waddle up to the plate.
If AW can't see that now is time to spend whatever it takes then his 30 years in football have been wasted.
