As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Sprained knee? Who sprains their knee? It's the weird sort of injury that decimated almost his entire Arsenal career and the sort of innocuous injury that has limited his playing time this season. I wasn't convinced they would actually try and get rid of him this summer but they are going to be looking to spend big on 2 or 3 players and van Judas sitting on the treatment table soaking up £200k+ a week is hard to justify with no CL football and a big outlay.
Regarding the draw it's the worst one they could have gotten. At least if they were away first there would have been a remote chance that they could have nicked an early-ish away goal and changed the dynamic of the tie and possibly given themselves something small to defend at home (even if it was a 3-1 defeat), like they did at Madrid last year. As it is they are extremely likely to concede first at home and if they do the tie will basically be over straight away.
be nice to see Robben, falling all over the place - are you watching Young, Januzai and all those other diving fuckers at the OT, watch a pro in action

"Hoist by their own petard" is the phrase that springs to mind.
Bayern will make them touch their ankles and if they ask veeeeery nicely they might use a bit of lube...
I thought it was hilarious watching them the other night, as the cameras panned over to the fans calling to the ref to blow up as if their lives depending on getting to the CL QFs. I know we don't have a good record in recent knock-out matches but I'd rather go out in the R16 than get battered in the QFs.

That has to be them gone officially tits up
Dearest Man Ure plastic fans,
Now you are seeing the real Van P€r$ié, please enjoy it...do not return to seller because you were warned what to expect...by the way any thoughts you may have about this man being a completely self centered, self serving man...are absolutely true.
Yours Sincerely
Gooners.
I think the draw and the Van P€r$i€ injury being announced on the same day is significant, marks the end of their season and the end of the reign of Moyes... I feel for all the united supporters here in Dublin, rugby over, GAA Championship months away... Where oh where will one find a bandwagon. ?

100% agree and stated as such lately - great player and a star when things are going well but when things are in the shitter the man goes missing (and that is coming from a guy that defended his wish to leave us)
