The Scum Thread/Stadium Redevelopment

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

To be honest, looks like they'll be making a good decision with that single tier stand behind the goal.

Look at how great the Millenium Stadium is with that steep stand at one end.

They'll still be shit though,

I know we shouldn't gloat at others people's misfortunes, but the BBC are reporting that Lloris has broken his wrist .

:D

I know little of medical matters, but GK's wrists are pretty important, so I think he could be out for a while.

Unless you're Szczesny, as he doesn't make any saves.

He does, however, need good eyesight to watch the ball zoom past him repeatedly.

Fucks up both Utd & the tiny totts plans then, (shame)

If true, buy the time he's recovered transfer window may be over ? And will be prone to further injuries ongoing.

This thread had everything,Bergkamp was really ours,Allan Sugar ruined us,Norris, Chapman, waaaah

Oddly no one suggested supporting a club that wasn't so mind numbingly small time.

Enjoy the read,if you don't die of laughter before the end.

Oh my dear Lord.   They should just shut that forum down, delete every thread except that one, and just leave that thread there so they can add to it for eternity. If ever a thread on a football forum defined a club and its fans, then by Christ, it is that one.

Glorious stuff!! Boom boom! :barscarf:

Agreed, I play cricket with 5 of the fuckers and every year all they think about at the start of the season is The Arsenal :?

They also think every year is their year, inevitably they lose money to me every yea although what started out as all of them having a wager is dwindling year by year (2 left in it now)

TBF I am lucky in that regard as I don't live in London, I do work there quite a bit but where I live there is a mixture of supporters its just than an uncanny amount of spud supporters play cricket with me.

I obviously want them to get relegated every season but I equally dislike man utd and chelsea.

That thread is wonderful. They seem to forget that no matter what and no matter who they had bought, they would have realised how shit they are and left after about a season anyway. Its fantastically funny to see how deluded some of them actually are and how tenuous their ideas are. Wankers, all of them.

According to my sauces,Levy has bought up way more land than he needs and is intent on gentrifying the area and have young professionals move in and colonise the place .
Good luck with that one mate !

Living up in Liverpool as I do, I can tell you its the same with the Anfield re-development. They are building a huge stand and have flattened about 5 streets of houses to re-generate the area. The stand is huge can be seem from miles away and is a bit of eyesore. It just shows you that The Arsenal is just a class above everyone else when they built a new stadium.

The area round anfailed has always been pretty bad as is walton next door although gentrification in parts of Liverpool have worked well I think !
