SUMMER TRANSFERS - Your thoughts on who did and did not sign

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

McCarthy to Everton, surely Fellaini to United with Barry also apparently moving to Goodison Park? Still just don't see it placating their fans, Wenger will have another period of grace after pulling off this coup so press will really tuck into Moyes after the debacle this summer particularly if they lose at Citeh.

Wilshere-Ozil-Cazorla

That trio would make even the postman bang 30 goals in

3 months to find a better striker than Bendtner and Sanogo, and we can't do it? :?
We are short in defence too, should have kept Coquelin.
Only one right back or centre back injury from trouble...unless Wenger rates Yennaris?

1 Ozil confirmed
2 Keeper of quality confirmed
3 Striker - at least decent quality confirmed
4 Bonus AKB points for a quality defender and a DM
5 Bendtner to Palace confirmed (although I do pity the poor buggers) actually a swap for Jedinak would suffice.
Good morning - well lads what have you got done in the past 7 hours??
1 just coming in, 2 if you're feeling particularly generous although Wenger made it clear that Almunia II is "cover". Lack of 3 has scuppered 5.
Thanks, saves me the reading but does suggest this 24/7 thing is a furfy seeing nothing has changed.
Wenger under promise and pretend to over deliver.
Podolski rotating with Giroud - so a new striker.

Exactly Quartz. Lets see what a genius everyone thinks Wenger is either The New Tony Adams or Le Chapman pick up even a short term injury or suspension. We are down to the Postie or Wally up top, and Sagna at centre half. Watch that happen just as we run into the November / December run of tough games

We desperately needed a striker and no matter what amount of bluff now follows the disasterous pursuits of Suarez and Higuain will come back to haunt us

As I suggested earlier, the Ozil deal has all the hallmarks of a pr deal by wenker and the club - you don't even have to leave this forum to see proof of Gooners going into climax mode on the back of 1 signing  If signing ozil was part of a challenging for trophies strategy then his signing would have been accompanied by at least 2 other quality players but instead we sign ozil, postman pat, flamoney and a keeper from serie b  :x

Wenger's new contract is a step closer. Look at the comments already from Gazidis
