Firstly, cheers DB,Pest and Rugby.
He's been moved back to West Suffolk Hospital with a view to hopefully getting the funding to move him to Stoke Mandeville, (whatever the fuck funding has to do with it?). Otherwise he will be moved to Sheffield which, quite frankly isn't going to give his family or friends many opportunities to visit him.
He is still without a voice box, so visits are hard work for him. He is able to feel his girlfriend stroking his left side but not his right side. His spinal cord is not broken, but it depends on which vertebrae are fractured/broken as to what extent of recovery he could make. Doc's say that it is the unanswerable question at present.

Cheers for the very kind offer Rugby Gooner, but he is a quite private bloke and he's still coming to terms with this change. Once he has started a recovery I shall ask him if there is anything we can do for him.
