He chased them and got tripped up by one, headbutted a wall and is now paralysed, laying in Addenbrookes hospital.

That is so fucking pointless, and so sad mate.
Is there anything that we,(as a forum), can do? Even if it something as simple as all sending him cards or something so he knows that people are with him and his family.
Let us know, either via the Forum or PM, I am sure that we will close ranks around him and his family at this difficult time.
Afterall, even though we all argue and disagree about what is essentially trivia, when push comes to shove we are all part of the Arsenal supporters family.

Firstly, cheers DB,Pest and Rugby.
He's been moved back to West Suffolk Hospital with a view to hopefully getting the funding to move him to Stoke Mandeville, (whatever the fuck funding has to do with it?). Otherwise he will be moved to Sheffield which, quite frankly isn't going to give his family or friends many opportunities to visit him.
He is still without a voice box, so visits are hard work for him. He is able to feel his girlfriend stroking his left side but not his right side. His spinal cord is not broken, but it depends on which vertebrae are fractured/broken as to what extent of recovery he could make. Doc's say that it is the unanswerable question at present.

Cheers for the very kind offer Rugby Gooner, but he is a quite private bloke and he's still coming to terms with this change. Once he has started a recovery I shall ask him if there is anything we can do for him.
