My mate is now on solid foods. I say solids, but it mashed up stuff. He can speak without an assisted voice box.
He's been moved to Sheffield. Apparently they're second to none with their facilities for quadraplegics.
He is in good spirits, and has made some friends.
He will be there for at least two years, but he is very optimistic that one day, he will become wheelchair bound.
It's difficult for family and mates to be there with him regularly, but he's made up that folk on this forum offered support.

Some positive news for him, no matter how small.

Justin Welby, a.k.a. Archbishop of Canterbury.

He seems a decent bloke in general, but he has announced that the Paris attacks led him to question his faith!
Should we take it therefore that the dozens of wars, hundreds of bombings, child abuse, disease, infant mortality, natural disasters etc haven't led him to this doubt?

Also, I've not heard how the story ended. Did he decide that Paris was God working in mysterious ways? Or that it'll probably be OK in the end? That in the Faith Top Trumps series Allah always beats God for pointless violence? Or maybe that his god doesn't exist, because if he does exist he clearly doesn't give a shit!
